The editor's notes in this chapter "why does everyone become sensible, is this not a CN?" truly cracked me up 😂

It's true that this book is unlike most quick transmigration/world-hopping books I've read prior.

It's more realistic and each character is complex and intricately designed.

... more>> The entangled thoughts of the protagonist in World 2, where he questioned the sincerity of his actions, and whether he's not as s*um as the characters he's replacing (considering that everything he does is an act) was so relatable.

In most novels with similar themes, the leads seem to have no burden at all essentially living a lie in every world they hop in. The fact that Jian Xi questioned his ideals was so down to earth and way more realistic.

In any ways, I'm really liking the book the more I read. Wasn't planning on reading it initially (cos it had no reviews) but I'm glad I did 😅

Can't wait to find out more! ✨ <<less

Hands down, this novel is one of the best BG quick transmigration with male MC of all time. It's emotional and heart-wrenching with a compassionate, responsible and intelligent MC.

I loved the MC of this novel; he is such a well-written and complex character, almost like another human. Through out the novel he might made mistakes but never lost his morals.

Even when he killed the person who bullied his sister to death, he gave himself to law.😭

I loved him in every role he played-

as a brother, a father, a husband, as a son.

The author also knows the perfect mixture of making people cry but also giving them sweet candy, that not everyone in life is bad.

(Also don't worry, it's not a tragic novel, some arcs are really hilarious and fun to read!)

Every arc is so flushed out. Every character has its own story, no matter if they were only in the background.

Plus I also got to know about the s*umbags. Some were really bad, but some were simply foolish and selfish and regretted it later in life.

I kinda liked it because it showed the side that most BG transmigration novels ignore,

Why did that person become a s*umbag? Were they selfish or foolish? Were they narcissistic and manipulative? Did something in the past happen?

Here you can feel that even though s*umbag is no more there is still some story to them not just 2D characters they are!

In the arc, he becomes an old man. He really did advise his assistant that he is old and she should work hard to earn her value, not just go after money.

In the arc where he becomes a doctor, he saves so many lives.

In the arc, he is the brother of the victim, and he shows supernatural presence to scare all the teens who dare to think of crime
