I have never hated a story as much as this one. I dropped it at chapter 76, but honestly, I wish I had done it sooner—or never picked it up at all. The only reason I stuck around was because the MC seemed intriguing, but that potential was completely wasted.

The story constantly shifts focus away from the MC and onto three other characters—Damion, Charlon, and Jedrick—who completely ruin the experience. Instead of learning more about the MC, his ideals, and his growth, we're forced to sit through their childish drama.

Spoiler

Charlon and Damion are betrothed, but Charlon cheats on him with Jedrick in record time. The pacing is so rushed that their so-called "love" makes no sense. One moment they've just met, and the next, they're betraying Damion while he's off trying to help them. The MC is literally fighting for their survival, and these two decide that is the time to "confess" their love and hook up?

Absolutely disgusting.

Spoiler

Even worse, Jedrick is supposed to be Damion's friend, yet he betrays him with constant excuses. "Oh, we shouldn't do this, we can't betray Damion"... and then he goes ahead and does it anyway.

The hypocrisy is unbearable.

I picked this up expecting an interesting MC-driven story, but instead, I got this mess. If I had known the author would focus on these three clowns instead of the MC, I never would have started reading. The execution is sloppy, the relationships are cringeworthy, and the characters are insufferable.

I should've listened when someone warned me about possible

NTR.

[collapse]
If you're a functioning member of society, do yourself a favor and do not read this. The childishness in this story is unbearable, and I'm genuinely disgusted that I wasted my time on it.

This has been one of the most frustrating reading experiences I've ever had. I regret giving this story a chance. <<less
