I enjoy this novel. It's actually leaning toward the realistic type of plot. I love how the author showed the development of the romance between the two characters, it is short yet it was enough to show the struggle within them and the problem within the family. These couples had been given enough time to realize their feelings. I really love it and definitely recommend it. It's short but the growth can be seen from them. There is no need for nonsense misunderstanding. I just love it.

This is a love story disguised as a pwp.

I read it because of the smut (and I was art baited as well). It's a simple premise where one character has skin hunger (think touch starved) and another character provides the so-called sustenance. Combining Feelings (TM) with their hopeless situation and a daily dose of touch starvation worked really well.

I don't want to spoil their circumstances because it would ruin the enjoyment of reading this.

For a smutty story, it sure gave me a feeling of hope when finishing it. Zhong Yuan... more>> and Zhu Ran also gives you the feeling that they actually exist in another corner of this world. I kinda wish I could read more about them. <<less

Honestly I dont understand why the rating is so high.

On positive note, its well written, language and style. Kudos to the translator for keeping up with authors standards (i assume). 2ndly it is short which is good as I found it depressing to read for most part. The extras are positive but kinda lukewarm which again isnt a bad thing seeing as thats probably exactly what the boys wanted. Peaceful normal life.

On other hand I would simply sum up the story is about 2 h**ny teeens living in poverty and... more>> neglect finding each others embrace to fill in the hole in their lifes. At least for the 4/5ths of the main story. I found it too depressing.

The story is soo satisfying and rewarding, fall in love with the characters immediately 😍 and I agree this is definitely worth of your time. It's short and it's good!
