I would have dropped had the tags been correct initially. The summary was confusing so I read it to understand what was happening and got more confused since it seemed strange since the tags were pretty crazy on foxaholic but the beginning chapters were very sweet.

So the story begins from the ML’s perspective. He goes and is looking for a wife. His family situation prevents him from getting one in the normal way so this lady tells him to go buy one. He goes to buy a wife and only reacts to the FL because she looked very pitiful and reminded him of his mother and how she might have been when she (his mother) was kidnapped. That feeling is what prompts him to buy her and take her as his wife. Everything is great at first. He sees the obvious signs of ab*se but still treats her kindly and everything (ancient setting so that would NOT be the normal reaction).

The FL was ab*sed very badly

They get married, the his sisters love her, everything seems great. Their s*x life is amazing, he’s not bothered by her past relationship or past ab*se, she’s not resistant to him because of any trauma.

But then apparently the whole village knows the ML has this attractive wife. Some kids even tried to peek at his wife and sisters bathing. ML beat them up and had the walls around the house strengthened. Next thing we know we hear about how there are some pe*vert shopkeepers who will smack the behinds of women and harass them. The ML’s sisters told the FL about it to protect her. Next thing we know the FL is walking alone at night 😑. Goes down a sketchy path 😑. And of course some weird old man r**** her. I skipped the while scene because it pissed me off. I jumped to the end of c6 and saw that the FL made the decision to not tell the ML that she was violated. And oh, guess what? The ML seems to be leaving to go work for a period of time. Yeah no. I assume she’s gonna be getting violated the whole time and the ML will still get with her in the end and that’s too much for me. She had no one to protect her before but then she found someone. The ML is a blacksmith, he’s not weak, and knows martial arts. Her not giving him the opportunity to k*ll those bastards is too much for me.

The title chapters were another thing that confused me initially because the tags said 1v1 but had all this crazy stuff. Maybe if it didn’t start from the perspective of the ML. Or maybe if the relationship between the leads wasn’t so good I could stomach it.

I went through the different NTR tags but based on what I read only adultery fit so I added that one. I don’t know if the FL begins to enjoy it later so I didn’t add an NTR tag. I’ll add the r*** tag too.
