This is an absolutely amazing apocalypse story. The MC is well written, she acts like an actual rebirthed person from the apocalyse. She's clear that her survival is her number one priority, but the way she thinks and acts, shows that she's still a human inside not just a machine.

Spoiler

like the way she doesn't help anyone like some saint, but when innocent peoples get sick and ask for her help, she will help them in exchange some item or food.

[collapse]

The most human thing about her is how she still gets afraid when the list of disasters occurs, she doesn't act like nothing could frighten her anymore which is a bit fake in other stories (I mean just because they went through it one time doesn't make them a wise sage that nothing could scare anymore, what scares humans once will scare them twice!). The MC gets afraid but continues moving, makes sure to manage her stress and health. We read about a flesh and blood human being who was reborn.

Apart from the well written characters, the story itself is so wonderful. For me at least, the apocalyptic disasters change so much from the usual plots of other stories, and it's not one disaster but multiple that succeeds one another!

In summary, I absolutely recommand for fans of apocalyptic, exciting, satisfaying stories.

Thank you for the translator (s) who did an excellent job translating the story, I couldn't stop reading once I started!! I hope there will be more chapters soon!! <<less

This is a very weird novel. The premise is interesting enough but I think the author is confused. The story starts with the protagonist stock piling supplies to support herself when things turn to shit. But when things finally turn to shit, she... doesn't use her stocked supplies.

The novel tries to say she goes out so that people won't suspect her but that is very odd to me. Throughout the course of the novel, she puts herself in harm's way just to get a few items, the same items that... more>> she already has in her space.

The story itself feels redundant. I cannot see where this is going and the lackluster storytelling leaves me with no desire to read further. <<less

As an avid fan of apocalypse and hoarding novels, I really thought I was going to like this. I like both cold-hearted protagonists and space users so this usually would tick every box I had. However the pacing, the writing is.. Eh. It's meh. Average. It's cruel to be needlessly cruel. You aren't sympathetic to any of the characters because none of them last long enough to feel sympathetic towards. Every single calamity comes and goes but it's somehow deathly similar each time. Even Ye Fu herself does not have... more>> that much development. There is a lot of bad logic which I can handle but Ye Fu isn't an interesting protagonist. Ye Fu is like any other protagonist. Cold to those who hate her, good to those who like her is the only trait of hers I can list. It's not a bad novel, and the translation is very good and readable. The site is also easy and pretty to navigate. But it's average. Meh. Somehow it's very similar to novels I like, but it's just ok to me. Maybe if I MTL it and read more it will become better. <<less

The beginning of the story is your typical disaster apocalypse rebirth + relic space. I do not care why the relic works, while in MC's previous life, it was not present. I can omit the fact, that after struggling for 5 years in her last life, MC killed a person in this life for the first time. It's okay that the moths or toads appear overnight.

But water not freezing at the -20 degrees? Moths and toads live happily at -15 while humans get chilblains? Mutated nematodes that go into the... more>> human body as meat flies and then are smart enough to go straight to the blood vessels and brain?

It's my brain that is dead after this nonsense, especially after I saw that it has more than 800 chapters of the author's delusion.

I cannot find why some people give this novel 5 stars. Even 3 are too much. <<less

I really love how the MC was super realistic when it comes to making a decision (such as helping others) given that the story was really was kind of dark throughout (Im done reading those apocalypse MCs where it's written that they are ruthless but then somehow acts like a saint in inconsistent situations) I loved how it is shown that she is also vulnerable to the despair of the constant challengers.

The ML was also so good and they operated on equal footing and you could really feel the dependency... more>> they have on each other in their journey

I wish I could read more hoarding novels like this where the MC acts like a realistic human in an apocalypse (the only similar level of this novel is the beginning of disaster MC: Jiang Ning) <<less

I'm enjoying this one! It's darker than other stories in this genre, which is saying something. I like that that the MC approaches things logically. Yes, the science doesn't always make sense but I've learned to suspend my disbelief after years of reading Chinese web-fictions.

I was eager to explore this novel as I enjoy reading about apocalyptic scenarios infused with magical space elements. However, up to chapter 174, the space setting is underutilized, primarily serving as storage.

The natural disasters became monotonous after 100+ chapters, prompting me to abandon the story due to repetitive plot lines.

I suggest this for readers who prefer a focus on natural disasters over character powers.

MC is a holy mother even though she claims she is not. Somehow, she didn't kill anyone during 5 years of survival during her previous life, and she is running around helping people everywhere during this one. Her behavior is very erratic. One day, she kills an auntie because she gossiped about her. The next day, she diagnosed pregnancy in her family even though they tried to occupy her home. Every time someone knocks on her door, she will open it and interact with people regardless of who it is.... more>> It is a wonder she wasn't stabbed to death yet. She will also go to their homes to treat people, unafraid of ambushes. Well, plot armor is thick, and she is immortal.

She has tons of supplies, but instead of using them, she runs around for random things and tests potentially poisonous food by.. Eating it. What a great doctor she is. Police officer in the neighborhood has recognized the reality, but she did not. Ofc she wasn't poisoned but I really want to know what she would do if she was. Lying on the ground paralyzed, suffocating and regretting her s*upidity? She doesn't even need this food to begin with, why risk it

She claims she goes outside to conceal she has supplies, but she got sick three times during short 30 chapters, not counting frostbites (reminding you, she has supplies and could have avoided it with warm clothes and heating, but she somehow didn't). She avoids cooking things altogether to not alarm people, but then to alleviate her mood she cooked spicy chicken hot pot, which everyone in the building smelled. Perfect concealment I would say. All in all, there is a big hole in her brain and she is insanely annoying.

Science in the novel is as miraculous as MC's brain circuit. Torrential rain in -20, flood and coldblooded poisonous animal infestation during cold wave is a wonder. Disasters are very random and illogical. 3 hours of sunlight kill people by poisoning, but eating toads from infected water doesn't. There are corpses blowing up in the water? It is disgusting, sure, but totally not dangerous. Instead of logical epidemics, we meet some random sh*t like parasitic worms popping out of nowhere by themselves instead (put them inside toads at least, they should be heavily infested by parasites anyway). People get frostbites, but there is no snow or ice anywhere, only water.

Looking at how she interacts with people, coupled with her holy mother traits and how badly she conceals her space, it is highly likely there will be a herd of useless "friends" (freeloaders) later because she pitied them. While I pity potential ML (even though he hasn't appeared yet) because taking care of such FL is exhausting and dangerous. The only good news is that she has plot armor and it should extend to those around her. Otherwise her survival instincts are nonexistent. I have no idea how she survived with nothing for 5 years in her previous life when she is already struggling after 2 months with abundant resources. Except for some uncertain knowledge about future there is no sighs of mindset or experience of rebirthed person whatsoever <<less

It was pretty good at the beginning and then I find the FMC have some holy mothers traits later in the story which I don't like since she was set up to be pretty independent and then she developed to be pretty dependent on people. Which is actually a good development if not the said "people" pretty much is living off of her. They are there to become the female leads mental pillar and with no sense of independence at all., they cling to her, especially the people who noticed... more>> her space. The author also wronged the ML all the time. The ML's only wish was to be with the MC alone, which is understandable since the ML is not quiet Human, and in the long run people would notice (Like not getting old at all). The FMC keep dangling that to him (Every time they survived a disaster thanks to the ML she would promise to leave with him) and then in the end never actually followed through to her promised of living with him and retreating to the mountains. Not in the sense of cutting human interactions, just living alone but going down the mountains once in a while. The FMC can't live without people who in the end became her burdens, and in connection the ML's burden. It's always the ML who kept getting hurt because the FMC want to protect her "people" like gurl if you want to keep your groupies alive at least have some decency to do it on your own. And it was pretty much plot armor keeping her groupies alive. All other people keep dying but hers keep surviving which is unbelievable for the tragedy tag. In the end it was pretty disappointing, I felt the FMC doesn't deserve the ML. And I MTL'ed the whole thing just on the hope that the ML would get his wish. Gosh. <<less

When you really read a story for as long as this one, especially when it's not quick transmigration so there really isn't many worlds, you can't help but get attached. Though I have to say, explanation for the rebirth, alternate timelines of the past timeline, of if the apocalypse didn't happen, are all so satisfying and did more for the characters and the essence of the story than the chapters 600-750. Anyways, really good. If you could fill up for yourself the lacking characteristics of philosophy (essentialism, crime and punishment,... more>> violence against women, etc.) then it'd make for both a smooth read. <<less
