Description
Links are NOT allowed. Format your description nicely so people can easily read them. Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. As soon as Qi Chu opened his eyes, he was faced with two major problems:
First, he had turned into a husky.
Second, this husky had somehow ended up in the middle of a wolf pack.
When he realized his situation, his fur almost stood on end, and his tail fluffed up in alarm.
The wolves, already on edge from recently losing their pack leader, were suspicious and confused as they turned their eyes on the strange “wolf” in front of them. With no other option, Qi Chu started making up stories to save his life.
***
Huo Bei, the pack leader, had been separated from the group during a battle. After a week of arduous searching, he finally found them again—
Only to witness a particularly handsome “wolf” lying proudly on a rock, confidently declaring:
“Let me tell you, when your boss was chasing after me, he followed me around every day. Even when he was injured, he still brought me prey. His love for me was real—deep and moving!”
“Of course, I turned him down at first. But in the end, I was moved by his sincerity, and we got together.”
Standing emotionless among the wolves, Huo Bei listened to the nonsense this liar was spewing. Just as the other wolves were about to say something, he stopped them.
Huo Bei asked, “The boss pursued you? Then why did you reject him at first?”
Qi Chu snorted, “Because I was testing him.”
…Huo Bei fell silent.
Only then did Qi Chu realize he didn’t recognize this wolf.
Before he could react, the Siberian wolf in front of him sneered and said, “Very good. If I weren’t the one you’re making up lies about, I almost would’ve believed it.”
Qi Chu: ???
Qi Chu: !!! HOLY CRAP.
Reading Guide:
1. Both the protagonist and love interest remain animals throughout the story; they never turn into humans.
2. Since the story is centered around wolf packs and animal behavior, expect a lot of wild instincts (please proceed with caution—if it’s not your thing, feel free to skip without complaints).
3. Since the protagonist is a husky, he has all the typical husky traits: chaotic, rebellious, neurotic, troublemaking, cowardly but cunning, and sheds fur like crazy. (Again, skip if this bothers you.)
4. The synopsis is an excerpt from the plot and will appear around Chapter 20.
5. The inspiration for the plot came from a picture of a husky and a wolf together, as well as the real-life story of a husky becoming the alpha wolf in a zoo.
