(The protagonist, who doesn’t have a Daoist consort and has been taking advantage of senior fellow disciples, elders of the sect, and others)

came to join the Yin-Yang Sect after hearing that its Daoist consorts change more frequently than they change clothes. Li Chuan contributed all his possessions, only to find that things were not as they seemed.

Almost a year after joining, he hadn’t managed to get a single Daoist consort. Thinking he had been deceived, he was approached by a stunning senior fellow disciple who asked if he would like to form a spiritual bond.

For those who don’t practice cultivation, they might not know what “forming a spiritual bond” is. Let me put it this way: A long-term relationship is called a “Daoist consort,” while a short-term relationship is known as “forming a spiritual bond.”

From then on, Li Chuan discovered the true way to interact with the Yin-Yang Sect’s Daoist consorts. As long as he had enough spirit stones, he could form a spiritual bond with anyone, Whether it’s Senior Sisters, aunts, Daoist consorts of aunts, female elders, Daoist consorts of elders, or even the Daoist consort of the sect leader, anyone can form a spiritual bond as long as there are enough spirit stones.”

Actually a fairly funny concept. It takes place in a dual-cultivation sect, but the key thing is that the sect, while promoting Dao Companions, really actually MEANS just 'DAO' companions. They emphasize that feelings shouldn't be a part of it, and that people can switch Dao Companions 'as often as they change clothes'.

So we have a fairly lecherous MC playing the field (pun intended). There's a small amount of face-slapping, mostly on behalf of guys he's trying to cuck, but the women don't fall in love, and neither does he.... more>> TL;DR: it's a sect that promotes pros***ution.

It's absolutely comedy (and probably harem), but as of now there's no romance at all (and frankly I don't expect there to be any until he presumably leaves the sect).

Interesting premise.

**Edit: I've enjoyed it, though the translation has paused for a few weeks to a month. Hopefully it continues. There is one thing I want to mention though, is that the Translation is REALLY weird! Not 'bad', per se, but it's so full of slang and accent and tone, and the more I read it the more I can't believe it was like that in the original. It honestly reminds me of some of my inner-city online friends, the first time I heard their voices over a voice chat. So much slang lol. ** <<less
