It's entertaining.

The world technology is quite advanced here but still old enough to feel like the current modern world. They mostly used this as an excuse for same-s*x couples to be able to get biological children without the need for donors.

ANYWAY. The summary itself is pretty straightforward. The MC gets transmigrated to another version of her after committing suicde to save her old world. She's friendly and smart but very obviously shrewed. This trait she shares with her father and something they silently bond over that its actually quite cute.... more>> FL is similarly smart but with a colder temperament. MC and FL quickly get the hots for each other and start flirting the moment they meet, but they take a bit more time to confess. Genuinely, I love their dynamic.

Flirt x flirt immediately was hilarious to read.

The drama here is mostly about rich family politics, dealing with the stupd male lead, and family telenobela drama. No actual relationship misunderstandings that ruin the read. So maybe not so good for those who like the spice but for those who like Slice of Life.

Pretty good wholesome, rich Mcs, power couple read with a supportive family. I wish there were more chapters. <<less

Rich. Has confidence enough to lead in an apocalyptic setting. Can heal everything that might even include death (I didn't read enough to know for sure). Can talk to plants, can talk to animals. Can transform people's bodies into nightmare fuel on a whim. Can be smart enough without studying. Can be a medical student because why not when you can heal like Jesus. Can make a whitening beauty cream that makes people's faces into godlike beauties, because why make a life saving pill in this modern era, when in the apocalypse, being beautiful is somehow the trend, not survival.

MC will follow the hot trend from her past life, of course. Thinking of something like curing people's cancer or AIDS worldwide does not matter as much as people being beautiful, of course.

This novel is in a modern setting by the way. The MC is just reincarnated from an apocalypse. God only knows why this is even in the plot.

Oh, right. Because all her OP powers has to come from "somewhere", of course.

Anyways, this novel is absolutely cringe.

If only I didn't simp for the couple's interactions like a thirsty lowlife in the desert, I wouldn't have read this long into the novel.

Man I really wanted to like this but it's just all over the place, you kinda need to turn your brain off so you don't just question everything

First off, the MC. She is supposed to be this ruthless schemer that outsmarts everyone, but the author doesn't really convey that.

Instead of outwitting everyone, she relies on her superpowers to solve everything for her. Literally everything she does goes well because of her wood superpowers from her past life, not because of her own talents. So instead of being seen as a... more>> capable badass, Shen Lihuan ends up being a Disney princess hard carried by being her powers.

It also introduces WAYYY too many side characters that the MC helps. Like every 5 chapters there's gonna be a new side character that the MC meets, find out about their sickness, and ends with the MC healing them and gaining their admiration. Rinse and repeat again and again and again and it just bloats the story, it's supposed to encourage the MC into being a medical researcher but it just doesn't land

I will say though, the biggest saving grace of the novel is You Changqing, the FL and her romance with the MC. She falls in love at first sight and 30% of story is her trying to seduce MC into finally making a move on her and it's great, the romance between the two of them is generally just really sweet with the FL growing from a blushing mess into a coquettish spoiled wife

I just really wish the novel was written more competently because I just can't fully enjoy the romance with everything else being a mess, no matter how good and sweet the romance is <<less
