thinking about it it more a 3/5 than a 4/5.

frankly it wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worst... a little boring to me though the premise was so interesting. unfortunately it reads like a typical slice of life school life and business/entertainment/family drama novel so there isn't much to say. other reviews have pointed out racism and xenophobia that plagued the novel, I couldn't say because I skipped a lot of it.

to put another perspective to the many effusive reviews: it wasn't exactly my cup of tea because... more>> the two of them love each other from the get go so there wasn't much build up, just misunderstandings kind of. and I got bored because this novel just wasn't all that captivating.

Well I enjoyed this one, it is really cute, fluffy and lotsa dog foods!!!!The romance btw the MC and ML is sweet and romantic. Some said the ML is overbearing, I mean he was the Emperor and nobody's perfect right.I'm confused wen ppl expect the novel to be realistic but complaints tat the characters have flaws.I mean in real life who doesn't??

If u are not looking for an award winning or literary novel, I still reccomend this novel. This novel I think focuses more on the courage to go against customs and norms of the society when u really love tat one person.

very nice story with bits of humor, definitely a good read. The ML is very cunning and the MC is also very smart, which makes for a good pairing.

it's nice to see the development in their relationship, love the character development of the ml. Before, ML has some r*pe vibes, bc MC didnt offer any consent and ML sometimes shuts him up by kissing him, which is a point I do not like. But afterward, ML communicates with MC more and they work together.

It’s sweet, funny, heartwarming, and sad... it’s a good read that I will re-read the author’s other novel in shared universe

I'm already finished this and completely satisfied with the ending.

The only thing I kinda don't like, they made the antagonist so s*upid and I'm not even surprised anymore because so many chinese novel that I read like that.

Overall the CP sure is cute and I love all the fluffiness in this story.

I think that this story is sweet because ML and MC, trasmigrations from Ancient time and they start a new life togheter in the modern time.

ML was a famous emperor and MC his husband, but due from their identity they have incompriension of they feelings. Fortunately they resolve their incompriension in their new life and they feeling become more deeper.

This one I like! Very very very much.
