After the resurgence of spiritual energy on Earth, humans began cultivating the five elements. Not only have animals and plants grown at an explosive rate and become far more powerful, but even their intelligence has also skyrocketed.

The curtain rose on a new world and a new order.

While people are putting all their efforts into studying Daoist arts and supernatural abilities, hoping to climb to the pinnacle of life with their own golden finger.

Feng Ming stared at the palm-sized, chick-like black wings on his back and wondered, ‘What should I wear tomorrow???’

Gong, A divine archer, excels at shooting birds. His greatest achievement was shooting down his own wife from the sky.

Shou, “Say one more damn thing and I’ll piss on your face mid-air, believe it or not?”

Scenario One:

Shou, “Look at my fluffed-up wings—aren’t they adorable? Don’t you want to touch them?!”

Gong, “No. Stay the hell away from me. Don’t touch laozi. Do you think I didn’t see the terrifying electric sparks flashing across them?!”

Scenario two:

Shou, “All those motherf*ers have turned into bloodline original-form cute pets for livestreaming, yet laozi with these three pairs of wings still can’t even get a damn diving bomb?!”

Gong, “…With the kind of bird your original form looks like, do you seriously have zero self-awareness in your own damn heart?”

Scenario 3:

Shou, “I don’t need the other five wings, I can flap you to death with just one wing! Try calling me a mangy chicken again if you dare! Please call me the Six-Winged Archangel”

I was originally reading this out of interest because I have read the author's other works (shared universe). Then, it spiraled out of control, and I couldn't get out of the pit. So, here I am.

The premise is actually interesting, to say the least. Beginning of spiritual energy revival, so there's still chaos amidst the order. Expect a lot of villains appearing in the novel. Don't worry, though. They're not at every chapter, just at some arcs.

For the protagonist, I like how he is written despite my dislike of his... more>> reckless persona. His power is magical and special with its own uniqueness. Although with lots of peril since his power is coveted by crazy researchers.

It's interesting how his 3 pair of wings have their own personalities, and it's just funny interactions with each other.

Other side characters are also interesting. They have their own distinctive characteristics. There isn't a lot of info dump of new characters in every chapter to my relief. I hate that.

The male lead, hmmm... Their first meeting is definitely k-drama like. There is a lot of coverage in the romance here, to my surprise, as the other story of the author doesn't cover the romance a lot. I don't hate it, I like it. It's perfect balance to me without being overly done. Although I'm concerned with the age gap.

Then, it was addressed by the protagonist themselves at the end by saying he's twice the age of male lead since he transmigrated after all.

For the end, I wasn't ready for the last arc. My tears almost fell, but I held on. I would say it's a perfect ending, tying up all loose ends possible.

The dynamic of this couple is definitely one my fave.

I read this in raws, which is pretty readable naman and posted in forum to be picked up. Thanks for picking this up, tl! (´˘ᴗ˘) ♡ <<less
