“I’m a C-class and I have my flaws as a guide, so why do you want to take me with you?”
“I told you. I like you. I need you.”
Unlike the arrogant gaze of the top predator in the food chain, he spoke in a sweet and seductive voice.
“Come with me.”
Let’s go to Eclipse together. And… …
“It’s not enough.”
He bit my lips like a hungry beast and dug into me. Our bodies pressed closer and humid air filled the surroundings. Was this what it felt like to be eaten?
“Ha… This is so damn good. What the hell are you?”
▶A quick taste I guess my hair wasn’t completely dry, so water droplets fell on my knuckles. The faint scent of shampoo lingered at the tip of my nose, making my head dizzy. Even his eyes were wet and moist. Calix looked like a spy using a charm in a spy movie.
“How about sleeping next to me?”
“Yes?”
“You sleep so well without even dreaming when you sleep with me.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
Calix’s face hardened when the charm didn’t work.
“That’s the only way.”
He unfastened the cuffs on my wrist and rolled up my sleeves to my forearms. Even in my dark room with only a few candles lit, my eyes were drawn to her pale, shiny skin.
“Wait, Calix. What are you doing?”
“Faint.”
Did he misunderstand the definition of fainting? His gaze did not seem to lie. As if to prove it, he leaned toward me, placing one hand on the bed.
I thought, “No way,” and backed away as far as he could.
Then my head suddenly touched the headboard. Even though there was nowhere else to retreat, he kept coming closer. I thought I knew what he was going to do.
“Wait. Calix, this doesn’t feel right.”
He came close to my lips. He didn’t even pretend to hear me as I twisted my head. It felt like his cold body temperature would touch my lips at any moment. His blue eyes were rippling and loose.
