The novel is really funny to read, and the translation is excellent.

It’s about Seo Dojin, a guy who wins the lottery and suddenly finds himself thrown into another world. He isn’t the first person to be transmigrated there; in fact, the gods use a game on Earth to select various gamers and transport them to this world. The protagonist wasn't a player, so he doesn’t know anything about it. However, thanks to his Karma (the fact that he was going to change his life with the money) and a goddess,... more>> he is able to obtain an EX-grade trait and a connection with the Dragon Chaos.

Even though he has a strong trait, the novel is more of a "weak to strong" story, as the trait is not as overpowered as it might seem.

The protagonist is not your usual dense character, and the female leads are all interesting, each with their own unique personalities.

In short the novel is excellent and I reccomed all of you to read it. The novel has also various illustration, that in my opinion is always a plus and can help visualize the story better <<less

I was hopeful after reading the 5 star review but the novel didn't live up to the expectations.

TLDR: You'll like it if you are just looking for a harem novel, otherwise, you prob won't.

The start was good, MC gets forcibly transferred with a random no-life neet on the road that just finished a game. There's also a unique mechanic where your life value on Earth (and future?) corresponds to your bonuses, which was very cool but also makes no sense, but you can look past.

It's made to look like a... more>> typical tower climber before the transfer, but it turns out to be that these people are transported into the world like an isekai. Similar to Surving the Game as A Barbarian novel, except, of course worse (though I read on Yonder which is better translation, I remember nu linked was bad one).

The world is established, and has living citizens and nobles. The world revolves around the Dungeon. I would prob like this story, as I like the niche, but, there are two main problems.

First problem with this novel is that there is an over emphasis and focus on harem. Every female character is or will be after the MC. They have their unique quirks, but are pretty flat due to lack of development, and very stringent in how they act in the basic parameters of their character's setup. As an example, one girl being the pet my head girl, over reliant, and timid. But doesn't go out the parameters like how any realistic person would, not to mention constantly asking for head pats and to be by your side is normal at all. These chars feel worse considering the second main problem.

The second problem, is that everything is heavily set up as a wish fulfillment type novel, meaning, everything is just going conveniently, an absurdly amount that it becomes heavy forced plot armor. With this, it only made the harem so much weaker. Part due to lack of development, and bigger part how everything is just too unrealistic and perfect.

These were just the biggest two problems of the novel, and not mentioning other things like the endless extra filler due unnecessary repetitive system descriptions that comes with these novels.

The action scenes and world setup are the only things that saves this rating from a 2 for me. I would've prob been still reading and partly enjoying if all the story developments were just not such an absurd wish fulfillment setup.

It's not just the wish fulfillment setups too, lots of parts when reading this novel I just feel a disconnect from reality like how the MC reacts/does things sometimes, it's hard to explain as idk how to explain <<less
