It’s a fast-paced novel. MC is actually smart. Yeah, not kidding. He knows when it's time to lay low and when it's time to stand out. He knows when to attack and when to back off. It's basic wisdom that most MCs of Chinese novels sorely lack.

Honestly, this novel deserve more coverage. This is easily one of the best cultivation novel. A simple summary, this novel contains things like clans, sects, battle competitions (1v1 types,) and the go into a secret realm, hunt beast or collect point type of competitions, secret realm opportunity, demon invasion, armies, and various others. This is a mid paced novel, not too fast not too slow. Just perfect.

. This author really worked on cultivation, intent, dao, techniques and various others things. This isn't like other novel where MC just picked... more>> up a techniques and oh. It's mastered. Nah. You really have to comprehend it. Author really focused on cultivation techniques, secret technique and martial technique, weapon classification, and other things. You can tell MC really did his research.

. This is not a case of a reincarnation novel, MC wasn't a talented cultivator, but his lucky encounter was a sword tip.

. The sword tip is not a cheat, all it did was improve his comprehension. It didn't give him and skill or ability or techniques. MC literally has to earn and struggle to get all he needs. MC follows a path of gaining experience either through battle or exploration and then seclusion to digest his gains. That's the recurring theme through out this novel and so far it dosent even feel repetitive.

. MC has a reverence for cultivation. He knows when to be high, and low. Arrogant and cool tempered, high key and low key. Knows when to showoff and when not to. This is one of the best aspect of this novel and what separate it from others.

. Villians and arrogant young master. Although we do get the typical arrogant master troupe. But We also get smart villian. Villain that actually got the best of MC. One small example is a particular villian actually took action against the MC before he even got a chance to develop further which actually caught me off guard. (I don't want to spoil it further)

. Another favorite thing of mine is that MC isn't actually invincible all the time or get all the opportunities all this time. I know crazy right. MC actually lost in the same age group and realm. He is the kind of person that his cheat is that he improves consistently through battle. And all the opportunities dosent go to MC. One example would be an inheritance that MC got early on, the second part of it actually got to someone else.

. Also if you're the harem type of person. I'm sorry. So far along what I'm reading, MC hasn't had a lover. Which is actually interesting because I don't know what plans the author have for female role but maybe it's that MC develops fast that his early companion will eventually be left off. That's a guess of mine

. In 1k chapter. The MC cheat the sword tip actually helped him less that 5 times. MC isn't reliant on his cheat.

Anyways. I will leave it here for now. I'll prolly update after I read 3k chapter but so far. I'm loving every single bit of it. <<less

It's really good for 14 chapters. Wish somebody translate it. Detailed information on techniques is the one for me whereas saying the name of technique and after 5 days MC is already at smaller accomplishment without any details.

has a very typical start with very little to differentiate this story from a dozen others but I like the focus on the sword and am interested to see where the MC will go from here. Other than helping his dad, I'm not sure what his goal is for getting stronger. I also have no idea where his mom is but if it's the same as those aforementioned dozen other stories than she will be from some big family/clan in an upper realm who got taken away since his dad... more>> was an 'unworthy lower realm tr*sh' blablabla. Or maybe they mentioned her and I just missed it? <<less

Its description of Tiger Fist is so detailed, which is amazing as I am so obsessed with Chinese Kungfu but somehow it also causes the plot a little bit unattractive in the beginning. Guess it’ll take some time for conflicts and plot to develop. But, the ML’s characteristic is showed

5 star then 4 star then 3 star. It's good but it's dragging on way too long. Where I'm at is just a repeat and quite boring. It seems like he makes progress but

it's just way too much of the same stuff at this point.

Big theme is racism / specisim and background and slapping everybody in the face

    2. Cycled conflicts after a while
    3. Every super powerful force seems completely useless except for their reputation. A galaxy sect doesn't have a full set of cultivation formula
    4. He makes a big deal out of repaying everybody a hundred fold but he feeds them water drops from ocean of wealth and knowledge
    5. The MC is quite 1 dimensional, 'Im free and unfettered but a super nice guy but I will kill anyone who has killing intent no matter the consequences
    6. Insane luck / timing, all the opportunities right before he breaks through, a new bigger pond right before he breaks through
    7. He's never a powerhouse, just a prodigy protected
    8. Overuse the word genius to describe every single other cultivation with more that 1 line of introduction
    9. "Women are much much worse than males except this one specific women" x1000 - in a novel where the main theme is overcoming racial and status disadvantages....

It's done well, even with the fated, women hating, "genius genius genius", face slapping, women magnetic, not righteous but actually is, foundation building MC.

I'd say halfway in the 2nd main place is where you should know what the whole book is about.

The best cookie cutter popcorn with a hint of depth that's gone stale before it's done
