To be honest, the story’s still in its early stages—but I’m already hooked. There’s this sense of something deeper lying beneath the surface. It's probably the only LoL story I’ve come across that actually pulls off the mental chess between characters, and even though it only shows up in short bursts for now—like that scene with Garde—it gives me hope that this will grow into something truly clever.

But that’s not all. What really surprised me was the character writing, especially for the side characters. That kind of setup is rare, and it keeps me thinking about them long after I’ve stopped reading.

Most stories try too hard to be relatable and end up being neither interesting nor relatable in the end. This one? It doesn’t make that mistake. Instead, it focuses on making characters feel real through their struggles and goals. And because they’re so well fleshed out, even if you came here looking for relatability, you’ll still end up finding someone who resonates with you.

The world building is also interesting as we can see how his clan interacts with the greater community as well as his plans for the future. Legit, out of the 9-11 girls from arknights introduced so far, only 3 have not shown typical signs of interest. Everyone else is flushing or shy or straight up wants to jump his bones.

It doesn't even take long. One of the main culprits, saria, hasn't even known MC for more than 2 months and they're already cuddling, this is while he already has 2 confirmed women he wants to marry, and 5 more hanging around.
