Lady Su (the Madam of the second branch) tries to put the MC is terrible marriage but her plan is foiled by an imperial decree. Then because of the MC, that terrible marriage was given to one of Lady Su's daughters. I just don't understand why this has to be the case. The man concerned is a sleazy bastard, who would certainly make anyone's life a living hell. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy and to make things worse, this girl has barely done anything.

When her mother-in-law divorces her husband, it's really good. I get that too, but it is shown as the FL is the only one supporting or caring for her and all other people who come to convince her mother-in-law otherwise are bad. She supports her because she is from the modern world and it's a common concept here. But it's considered a taboo in the ancient world, so it's totally absurd for them. Also the women in that era were much smarter than us now, they were asking her not to divorce not because of her husband but because of her child. They know they can never depend on a husband with multiple concubines, the only ones they depend on are their children. So they try to get the best for their children which is also the best for them. If they divorce then the noble title and wealth and army go to the concubines son. The ML has already been under assassination many times. Imagine what would happen if everything goes to the concubines son.. they would definitely be killed one way or another. But the FL doesn't understand the difference at all. Everyone else is bad, only the FL is good. This is shown all the time.

The FL coming to their family suddenly when the villainess/original FL was already engaged to the second prince caused her uncle a lot of problems and all the preparations he had done were going to waste. But nothing is shown from his point of view, all they show is how he ignores the FL. So he is really bad that he is not sympathetic to her situation.

Apparently everyone should love the FL even when everything they have worked for has gone down the drain because of her. In the end he is made into a really bad person who hates and tortures his nephews and niece (even though thats not true) and gets caught up with corruption and gets exiled. The emperor is also like, oh he is so s*upid why did he do that. Most of the money in the treasurey were filled with his money. So the emperor and the ML were clever and took this money via the second prince and then blame him for being s*upid and getting exiled. WTF.

When she exposes that fake priest, then so many women and children are killed because of her pregnancy charms. The fake priest would use pregnancy charms and get the women drugged and get them r*ped by someone and get them pregnant. So both the wife and the child born are killed after this comes out. Did the FL care or did it matter to her? NO... The 2 princesses also got married and tortured by that psychopath prince. If only the FL or empress had told them they wouldn't have to marry the prince, would they have hurt anyone? NO... Because of the FL, a lot of people get killed or their whole lives gets spoiled by getting married to a bad guy or get exiled.

One of the plot hole I couldn't accept was the marriage trail part. With just few words they turned the marriage partner from FL to Qin Xiu, only because of date of birth, how could they prove it? Qin Xiu grew up in capital from young age so many would be familiar with her but when the Li couple said the marriage agreement is for Qin Xiu nobody pointed this out and accepted it casually, they didn't even second guess how could a girl grew up in capital will have marriage agreement somewhere far away when she was probably adopted to a new family and no one doubted FL even if she was missing for 10 years grew up as commoner and only returned recently. Brainless people.

The only thing I would have like to have seen was a follow up with what happened to some of the minor villains, like the prince from the neighboring country or the princess married to him, the Fang girl that married the Second Prince Gu Jing, etc.

The only problem I have is the pregnancy. We don't get to see everything: the MC gets pregnant and comes back at five months, but that's all that we get to see. The extra only shows the one-month celebration for the little princess. I really wanted to read about it... because their love is just so sweet~

A very simple, basic compound bow she made as a toy for her cousin (putting aside the issue of the one-size-fits-all, instead of different bow sizes for children and adults). In the end, the ministry of industry researches the bow concept and come up with a very formidable product that plays a part at the end

Let's not mention the use of ileinism which I don't know if the characters did and I missed it because I just rear the MTL version but yeah, such way of speaking can bring more of the ancient flavor, too bad that I didn't read much of it. Also, let's mention how the harem and court should never interfere with each other yet the Empress Dowager can freely come even during a court meeting. Who knows, maybe the author wants to portray a very filial Emperor and occasionally blind to the rules ministers? Although censors are usually annoying, I must say that they are somewhat useful in setting the tone of such stories.

Again, the romance is typical. It started with the ML running away from his pursuers and then bumped into the FL, then he finds her interesting, and then she, who knows he's the future villain, tries to stay away from him but gradually like him. I must say that one of the romance's redemption is the lack of rotten peach blossoms. At least it isn't tiring to read it.

At the beginning, I thought there must be some explanations why the FL and the reborn novel FL knows two different story. But no, it was left unanswered. Not to mention how the foreshadowing was somewhat inconsistent with how it goes. For example, when the FL saw that her didi was spoiled on purpose, she said that she felt sad, also, she dreamed of being shot by an arrow like it's almost real. Yet at the end, there are these "it must have been an emotion left by the host" heh. That's really disappointing tbh.

Also, I get that in order to emphasize the supposedly villain's IQ, the ML was the one who control the scene but then again, isn't it too much? The emperor literally obeyed all his plans, almost like a puppet.

Not bad, kinda like some of her character design such as being sharp-tongued and acting as a white lotus at appropriate times. But I don't know if I should commend on how she can easily adapts to her environment that she thinks as an ancient lady. It's just like her being transmigrated from modern to ancient is just for the sake of setting her character somehow unique. There is no traces of her as a modern day person. Well, that's quite good too though. Very flexible, ver mindful, and very cutesy lol. Nevertheless, I hate how the author doesn't even spend even a little effort of explaining where and who the FL was before being reborn.

With such brains, it's too much to call them villains. At most, a stepping stone for the ML and FL to set their intelligence. The novel FL and ML were way too s*upid that their ambitions can't keep up with their brains. However, I'm quite dissatisfied with how QX wad dealt with. Seriously, that's it? After all the things she did, her ending was imprisonment. Quite too lenient for her.
