After I completed my mission to capture the crazy Crown Prince, I died in his arms.

In the next world, I played the role of the kidnapped female lead in a wife-chasing abusive novel.

Unexpectedly, the kidnapper blindfolded me and held me tightly:

I really enjoyed this story! Immediately, I was captured by the obsessive ML and wanted to know more about their past life. Personally, I wish they had expanded a bit more because their past life was such a compelling story for me and I wanted to witness just how much the MLs affection grew and how much of that was solely because of the MC rather than the system.

There are definitely plotholes*, and while I would like to minus a star for that I have a feeling with how the... more>> story had its funny moments - it’s a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously anyway. At the end of the day, this was a cute little love story about love that transcended world systems.

Plotholes: The whole life death gu and the mother gu being in the MC made me wonder well wouldn’t that mean the MC dying should’ve killed the ML? The novel also doesn’t really explain what the points the MC is so motivated by are even for.

The ML (Rong Jing) was so obsessed with FL (Shen Yang/Shin Shuang). It's like chasing/waiting throughout different timelines just to be together with FL again.

After FL died in first world, ML became crazy due to sadness and abdicated throne after three 3 years as Emperor in favor of foreigners.

Turned out ML retired and had a contract with Main God which enabled him to live long and waited for FL for 2, 456 years until he'll see her again.

For FL, it's only hours after she transferred to another world... but it took eternity for ML to see her again.

Sadly, in current world... she still had to complete mission and separated with ML. But when she transmigrated again to new sci-fi world (3rd timeline), it seemed to be ended happily bc they met again and her mission seemed to be able to stay with ML much longer.

For a short story, this was actually compact but full of plot holes tho. The side characters were dvmb but understandable bc plot was Creator/Main God's mood.

I actually found the ending bittersweet and felt lacking. I want epilogue about new world lmao <<less

It didn't mean that I didn't enjoy the world-hopping plot but I just didn't like the kind of the plot where MC made ML fell in love with her than heartlessly abandoned him. It's okay if ML was a s*um but ML in this story wasn't.

Maybe he's a bit yandere but he really treated MC well. However, MC only regarded him as a mission. MC was even a bit puzzled as to why ML was so obsessed with her. I mean, what do you expect from the man who had a 100% affection for you? I know she had no choice but to leave. However, she could come clean to ML before she left so he could be ready to face the imminent separation.

Idk, I feel that ML deserved better... at least, being loved by someone who was also ready to sacrifice everyhing for him.

Eeerrrrmmmm... well ok... we get to savor multiple genres here. Historical, modern CEO and interstellar alpha/omega themes. The ML’s love is HEAVY!!! It’s ok for a short story I suppose but the realism in character development is crappy.

The fiancé from the 2nd world is a jerk that not only treats her like crap but openly brings his lover back and engages in intimacy in front of his “friends” too. When it gets revealed that she’s a famous painter, suddenly he wants her bad and ditches the other woman? No joke! Not a build up of a whole bunch of awesomeness, just because she’s that famous painter. WTH?! Then, he kidnaps her and asks why she won’t forgive him for his ONE mistake! A mistake is an accident. What he did was blatantly putting her down, humiliating her, hurting her and disregarding her. Intentional! Not an accident. Such a psycho and not in a romantic yandere way either. Scum!

The song « unconditionally » by Katy Perry is exactly the type of love our ML has towards the FL. Typical of an obsessive character

Yet, I feel like even if the FL seems to have feelings for him, I don't think we can call it love.

The story is longer than what I've seen on their website so far yet it was one of the best ! <<less

Marriage is scary, what if he doesn't wait for two thousand years just for the slim possibility of meeting me again?😭😭😭

Shen Yang was typical quick transmigrater whose sole purpose was to complete her mission. But she encountered the yandere Crown Prince Rong Jing. He was a stereotypical obsessed yandere, true, but his love for her was just as obvious!

The ending was also great. It definitely has the potential for a full-blown novel. Would definitely recommend.

Solid story, short and sweet. It’s pretty funny that she pointed out the s*upidity and plot holes in the world she transmigrated into. Despite the absurdity of her situation, she acted according to the plot like a good worker bee. It was all a job to her 😆
