honestly, I don’t understand why this novel is rated so low. It’s a wish fulfillment type story with a slightly op protagonist. The premise is incredibly similar to ‘mistaken as a monstrous genius actor’, which is probably why it’s rated lower than expected.

the main character is really cute. I have a bias for kuuderes that just wanna make friends. The misunderstandings come from her face and her social anxiety lol.

the side characters are a bit two dimensional, but they can be brushed aside with ‘oh, they’re just really dedicated to... more>> their things’.

so far, everyone is cute in my eyes (except harin that HARLOT)

I rate this novel highly because it's already dumped on enough and also because I think it's exactly what it wants to be. It's about an isekai'd gender bent protagonist that got a cheat and isn't afraid to use it. It's not for everyone, that's for sure, but you can't signal what kind of read this is more clearly than that.

The portion of people that's into the tags will even be pleased to know it's a bit more original than the usual TS streaming/OP stuff going around. Of course, there's... more>> that too, but the packaging is fresh.

However, it has its flaws. First, I don't have a problem with the translation (used to MTL), though the translation could be a problem. Depends. The source and reason for her cheat is unexplained for now, but that's kinda a fringe plot to what we're really here for anyway.

I think the most annoying thing about this novel is how there's not much actual plot in chapters? And the author has this terrible habit of meandering until the end of the chapter where something finally happens. It makes it feel like every chapter is a cliffhanger. Not a good feeling. Unless you're reading in bulk, of course, which you should probably do. <<less
