Honestly, this is one of the top-ranked stories among my favorite novels. I first read it around 2021, but unfortunately, at that time, the author had only written a few initial chapters. Now, in 2024, I had the chance to reread it.

The lighthearted and engaging storyline, coupled with its humor, kept me entertained and eager for the continuation of the novel. But sadly, my expectations were crushed.

Spoiler

I liked how, in the early chapters, the story depicted the MC's love for his mother and sister. I expected this to develop further—especially with the MC empathizing with his mother, who was mocked as a mistress due to being a second wife, and with his worry over his sister being hurt by men. I thought this would lead the MC to realize the importance of not having a harem, or at least that the story wouldn't include too many female characters. Once again, I thought, "Alright, at least the author seems to avoid surrounding the MC with women." But... no.

Like many typical Korean novels, this story is most likely heading toward a harem ending, which is deeply disappointing for me. Honestly, a plot where every female character is reduced to being a love interest for the MC is absolutely absurd and, frankly, distasteful. (I say "most likely" because I've only read up to episode 178, but based on how the author writes the interactions between the MC and female characters and the way they're portrayed, it's obvious this is another harem story.)

P.S.: If anyone has finished reading this and it turns out not to be a harem, I'd be delighted to hear about it!
