Lariella sighed softly as she unrolled the blanket she had wrapped around herself. As his one-piece nightclothes rode up, his thick thighs were completely exposed to the cold dawn air.

Pouting her lower lip, she was about to cover his thighs—which looked easily twice as thick as hers—with the blanket, when her eyes were drawn to one particular area of his nightclothes that was unnaturally protruding against his otherwise flat-lying garment.

Was it something he carried for self-defense? Even so, it must be uncomfortable to sleep with such a thing between his legs.

Lariella intended to carefully move whatever it was—scabbard or club—to the side. So she cautiously grasped the topmost part of the bulging nightclothes, but……

In that moment, she jumped back in shock, flinging away what she had been holding.

Her eyes, already wide with surprise, grew even larger like saucers at what happened next.

The duke, who had been lying motionless, began to pull up his nightclothes with a deep groan.

The nightclothes that had been covering his thighs quickly rode up to his waist with a few gestures of his hand. Then the elongated shape that had been hidden beneath his nightclothes sprang out with a heavy arc.

Startled out of her wits, Lariella covered her mouth with both hands, barely swallowing the scream that almost burst out.

The duke stroked the protruding thing as if petting a puppy’s head, then gently wrapped his large hand around its lower part.
