Six months later, people became used to the towers and no longer paid them attention.
One day, Tang Mo saw a flying insect crash into it instead of going through it. The next day, a sharp and clear child-like voice issued an announcement to all humans.

The black tower’s three iron-clad rules:

hope you don't open the spoiler icon... because that's the main purpose of this story....... more>>- First, the story's MC and ML are independent and strong on their own. They don't need to help each other all the time just to finish a single task. MC isn't that type of naive, shy, and dependent MC. He's strong on his own, and have his own character. ML is the same, he's independent and doesn't necessarily pamper MC. He knows MC is strong and believes in him, but he's also there if MC needs him in certain situations.
- The MC is human. Yes, we all know he's human, all of them are. What I mean is his emotions, responses, and decisions are of a normal human being. He isn't the kind of MC that always saves other people before himself like an idot saint sent by heaven (sorry, I find those kind of MCs especially annoying). He has a sense of survival and knows that he should save and always think of himself first rather than save an unknown player with him just because he's a good MC. If he needs to kill to survive, he'll do it without batting an eyelash because he wants to win the game.
- The side characters isn't flat. They have their own strong points that was shown in the story. They aren't used as accessories just to increase the number of characters in the novel.
- All the characters are growing. The MC especially didn't start with being physically strong from the start. In the first challenge, he used his brain to be an official player and he starts growing and growing from there as he encounters more and more challenges.
- The genres are balanced. It isn't entirely focused on romance, or on comedy, etc. Everything was equally distributed.
- The games aren't all explained but the answers are all reasonable based on the hints, objectives, and rules provided.
- Every chapter is fun to read and long. One game just takes at least two to four chapters so expect to read a lot of mind games in that 250+ chapters.
There's no chapter where the characters are just lying around doing nothing.
- MC wasn't actually that OP to the point where no one can beat him. He struggles. He has his own shortcomings. He also relies on others if needed. He has his weaknesses like the ML.
