“Someone who knows me well enough that I can use them well without feel any guilt, and that’s you.”

With that bullshit, he proposed a two-year contract marriage: a poor estate, heavy responsibilities, and an uncertain future.

Considering all that, wasn’t it actually a grateful piece of bullshit? So, Renee willingly became the contract wife of her damned first love.

It was about two years ago.

“No, I don’t need an extension. Why bother for someone who’s starting anew?”

With a twisted smirk of disbelief, Alexander quietly looked up at the sky.

A new start……

He was muttering as if he was thinking over the words she said and asked back in an unpleasant voice.

“What are you going to do after divorce?”

“Now I want to live the way I want to. Go on trips and have passionate relationships. ah!”

Renee, who was looking at Alexander’s frowning brow, laughed nervously and added,

“I also want to try some wild nights in bed, something I never did with my fake husband.”

To truly face each other,

it was something they absolutely had to go through.

I don't know why there are so many one star ratings? So far I've enjoyed reading it. The female and male lead both have flaws, least of which is communication, but it seems that they are slowly growing and learning.

The novel is framed like a rebirth novel, but that is mostly to tell us readers what will happen if they don't make an effort to change their fate. The male lead woke up from a "dream" but he doesn't seem to remember most of the previous life. It seems that... more>> rather the author has him (and on occasion other characters) get a deja vu type feeling that causes them to change what they normally would have done. <<less
