This is another typical strong x strong esper / guide novel.
The ML is the country's only S-rank esper with a telekinesis power, and the MC is a dual awakener with a C-rank telekinesis power and an A-rank psychic power (basically he can do stuff like brainwashing which is pretty OP). I didn't find anything too standout about the relationship between MC and ML.
My complaint about the novel is the plot is too convenient for them... Because MC has a psychic power, he can basically function as a guide and regulate the wavelengths of espers so he doesn't need a lot of guiding and can also function as a guide for others. And when MC does need guiding, ML suddenly awakens as a guide as well... there's really no explanation for it other than it's convenient for plot purposes.
