[Mind Reading + Transmigration into a Novel + Sweet Love in a Wealthy Family + CEO + Family’s Darling + Entertainment Industry]

Jing Yi transmigrated into a sweet romance novel about a true and false heiress in a wealthy family. The good news: at a young age, she could live a life of luxury! The bad news: she was the villainous fake heiress who ultimately faces retribution…

In the original story, Jing Yi was adopted by the Jing family as a child. However, consumed by jealousy towards the female lead, she resorted to various schemes to frame her. She even colluded with rival companies to sabotage the Jing family’s business. After her actions were discovered by the Jing family, she not only lost everything but also lived a miserable life thereafter.

After transmigrating, Jing Yi behaved herself for two years. She hadn’t met any family members except Grandmother Jing and was working hard to become an inconspicuous member of the wealthy household!

That is, until the dying grandmother arranged for her to meet the rest of the Jing family…

[Oh no! They’ve finally reunited as a family. I shouldn’t go and be a bother!]

Suddenly, silence fell. The Jing family members looked at Jing Yi’s nervous expression with puzzled faces.

*

Jing Yi still ended up being brought back to the country by the Jing family.

[Big brother really lives up to his ‘workaholic’ title. The Jing family is so lucky to have you! Keep it up! Here’s to the rest of my life!]

Jing Ze Yu silently watched Jing Yi, who was showing concern for his health.

[Wow! A living, breathing brother complex princess?!]

Jing Ze Qian silently clenched his fists as he looked at the seemingly obedient Jing Yi in front of him.

[Jing Ze Jun and Actor Wen are truly a match made in heaven! No one can break up my OTP!]

Jing Ze Jun’s face turned bright red as she lowered her head, noticing the looks her family members were giving her.

#Sincerity is always the ultimate secret weapon!#

#When my inner thoughts have no script, will you still love me?#

To be honest, this story would be better without the romance tag. The relationships within the family and their interactions make this a pleasant, healing story.

The protagonist is a fresh breeze compared to other stories.

My problem, however, is with the main couple.

Spoiler

I feel really sorry for the main lead. Its not even because of Jing Yi, but her family and friends treated him in a way he definitely did not deserve. He never hurted her and their only problem was a result of his trauma. While the story tries to explain that Jing Yi is not obligated to stay with the male lead because he tries to change for the better, and partially I agree, if she actually likes him, shouldn't she try as well? The relationship feels very one-sided.

And what about her family? While I usually like overprotective brothers and friends, here it feels like too much.

Overall, I think the male lead deserves better treatment. Even though Jing Yi is not obligated towards him, he is also not obligated towards her. Relationship is a two way street. It cannot be expected that only one side needs to change to better suit the other. Moreover, without any help.

46- That's the latest translated chapter.

What hooked me to read this is the mind read part.

And what I like about this novel is there's no unnecessary drama. Not stressful, in fact it's amusing. The whole family accepted our MC. There's also no hidden hate and schemes between her and the FL.

... more>> I'm pretty sure the ML will be the Shen guy, but at the moment, they (MC and ML) haven't met yet.

What annoyed me is that, she didn't do anything about that Miaomiao and her second brother's future issue yet.

Disclaimer: I'm too sleepy to make a proper review. Will edit this once awake.

Highly Recommended!

Probably one of the very few Novels - not only Chinese, but on this entire site - in which the relationships between siblings are... realistic.

No strange and disgusting s*xual tensions, no hatred, envy or intrigues worthy of the imperial harem, no useless traumas dragged out for chapters and chapters to lengthen the speech.

Zeyou is a caring and protective older brother in the good sense of the word, Zeqian even if he constantly argues and bickers with the MC (as is normal between brother and sister, by the way) is always... more>> ready to take her defense, Zejun is simply delightful, the friend and accomplice that you could find in a twin sister and not in a girl you've known for just two months, and finally Yi (the MC, precisely) is the "little daughter", cuddled and petted by everyone, adorable as a basket full of puppies and kittens.

Of course, there are adverse events and not everything is always rosy, but the problems are almost always addressed with a good dose of realism and logic, and always maintaining a light and "familiar" tone.

Even the Entertainment element, always a source of useless and exaggerated drama, always remains in the background, seen through the eyes of the protagonist who is a stranger to it and experiences it only because two of her siblings are part of it.

A must-read if you want to pamper yourself with a generous portion of fluff and want to enjoy the story of a normal family with problems and behaviors that are all in all normal (even if a very rich family can have normal problems) <<less

I read only 3 translated chapters, but I already can say that this novel deserving attention, because it has sisterhood. Both girls are sweet, curious about each other and have good impression about each other. And from description it seems both will have their own romance. It's rare occasion so I can for sure recommend this one for fellow readers.

Such a lovely, sweet novel!

What I liked:

The MC is very cool while also being loveable. I LOVE the fact that this novel explores a niche job for its FMC.
Spoiler

A female racer? Yes please.

[collapse]

I like the fact that the novel didnt focus only on the lovely relationship between MC and ML. It focused on MC's career, ML's journey towards healing from his trauma etc.

I was fully ready to read about an arrogant CEO by the way the novel was introducing the ML into the plot, but what I found was a cinnamon roll.I liked that.

Finally but most importantly love the family dynamics of MC and her family especially the true sibling relationship between her and her second brother. Loved reading about their bickering. Loved her relationship with her sister and her eldest brother too.

What I disliked:

It was honestly hard to find anything I disliked but I wish the introduction to MC's friends from Berlin was not at the very end. They seemed like very interesting characters.

Anyway a short and sweet novel like this kind should never be buried. More people should read this.

It’s a great read. I would say it’s one of the rare novels where the intended female lead and the new female lead does not clash against each other but help out each other. I love reading about the developing of feelings from the family.

It's not bad, just the romance was very lacking, it's mostly centred on her integrating into her new family, with only a few chapters showing relationship progression. I wanted it to do both, but I guess I asked for too much. It wasn't very funny either, but I kept reading cuz I already started, anyway, id say it wasn't bad. Just it is such a long novel, and after a while it felt like the author was just padding the story to make it longer. By chapter 230 they hadn't... more>> done much with regards to their relationship, so if you're here for the romance, be prepared to wait.

In the end I waited, and only got a few sentences, so not feeling very fulfilled after reading. <<less

Totally a family themed novel with a fair share of romance, a little bit of drama. The MC is a bit of Mary Sue, but not to the extent of an allrounder.

It describes family love, getting through emotional obstacles, a lot of fun bickering. A truely feel good story.

Wonder why there's no love life for the 2 brothers. Seems like they had to sacrifice their happiness for the story's sake.

5 STARRRRSSS ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

THIS IS SUCH A GEMMM!! Don't mind other low review that gave 2 stars, don't have reading comprehension. Like reallyy??? Giving low rating and saying "romance is very lacking" HEY USE UR BRAIN!! THE MAIN GENRE OF NOVEL HANGS THERE UNDER THE TITLE. There is NO Romance tag on the Main genre list. "Late Romance" is tagged UNDER SUBGENRE. The Novel is more about FAMILY

anyways true with other proper reviews that said: The MC and her entire family were endearing and loving.... more>> It felt natural and genuine.🤧.

Story Started with Jing family Living together with our main Girl Jing Yi plus points for her new Family on hearing her thoughts BUT! Not all of her thinking can be read, Did Jing yi got to know her Family ability?
Spoiler

kinda Yes, there's a twist anyways Jingyi is cool about it ^^

[collapse]

Jing Yi, oh Jing Yi she's funny and steadfast. A good lady and protects her fam&friends, Her family loves her too^^ though she usually bickers with her 2nd brother hahaha I am happy finally she got to pursue her hobbies.

The Romance????? For me it's chef's kiss!!!! They got an unexpected first Meeting. ML might be scary to others but he just got a lot happening to him+ his past trauma. Their relationship has a gradual development. I am curious on how they will be together during the story. The author did a good job!!! From kinda enemies to lovers. They were not perfect. BOTH of them faced an issue and they have their own ways on overtaking it. ML loves Jing Yi deeply and strives to be a better man for himself too, and moving forward😁 anyways both of them deserves each other. There are side couples and extra chapter for Another kind of Ending [ where in Jing family Found a young Jing Yi~] ready your tissues for those who are easily touched/cry ehe but REALLY THE NOVEL IS WORTH IT <<less

Js like the other reviewer, I’ve no complaints for this novel, so far, it’s def good but the one thing that make me so confused is how the mind reading part work.

I’ve read ‘After the Secrets of the Passerby Were Leaked, He Was Cherished by the Entire Family of Antagonists’ and the mind reading part was pretty simple to understand. As long as the MC family +ML was within the radar that the mind reading work, they could hear the MC thoughts but this novel I don’t get it... I... more>> was expecting a lot AND I MEAN A LOT mind reading in here but it’s less than what I expected. For some reason the mind reading work when the author want imo. That pissed me off. Bcs in the novel that I list above, all the family knew what was going through the MC head and what turbulence are coming toward their family so they can be ready. But here not all MC thought could be heard even thought they were so close like being beside each other...

Other than that, I don’t really have any complaints but I’m js puzzled. Anyway, I really recommend ppl read the novel that I listed above. They have very great plot, nice pacing and everything that idk how to describe!! <<less

Loved the family interactions, loved how real and understandable/relatable these characters are. They're all flawed- even the almost-MarySue-ish MC, who is still rather realistic. This makes the warmth so much more meaningful and tangible, and how you can see the different characters learn to not only care for each other, but to give each other the best support they can. There are so many wholesome themes that you seldom see anywhere outside of therapy and it was amazing to see the mostly organic ways they were inserted.

Would have given 4.5-5... more>> for most of the novel until the later parts, where I just started feeling bad for the ML, who surprisingly ended up being my favorite and most cared for character overall (rare for me, I usually like MC/ML together or non-ML characters most). Emotional impact was enough for me to pull the novel out of 5 stars but I do love it and highly recommend! <<less

The ML definitely deserved better.

I think it would have been better for them to leave each other indefinitely. MC wants to be independent and ML just folded like a house of cards.

Is it a crap situation to choose between possibly the love of her life or an extremely dangerous career? Yes. But you can’t have it all in life.

I waited for the romance only for it to be extremely one-sided and let’s not talk about the criticism and unnecessary suspicion coming from her family to the ML.

This is the very first "reading inner thoughts" novel that I absolutely loved! actually it's also the 2nd novel that I actually finished! (the first one is Military empress).

I won't write a long review, since others explained it perfectly.

My main thoughts are that, I really loved the relationship devolopment with the OG female lead and the family. it was nice and realistic. Everything about this stories devolopment was great.

what I didn't like is, The Wang arc, it was very mild like the others said, I had an high expectation... more>> for this arc but alas, it wasn't good at all, just waste of time.

And the other thing that I really didn't like is the romance part of it. it absolutely suçks for me. The romance was so abrupt with NO devolopment AT ALL!

I feel so frustrated because of this. I don't like the male lead, I don't like their dynamic, I don't like anything about them BECAUSE THERE IS NO DEVOLOPMENT. THEY JUST FELL IN LOVE AND STARTED DATING WITHIN... LIKE 3 interaction! (maybe a few more but you get it). really they didn't focus on romance at all. no moments between them. how did they fall in love when they ugh I am speechless with this.

this is the only reason I'm giving this story a 4 star. because it completely ruined my mood.

but I really loved the sister bond between the Female leads! and the whole family as well! everyone was very we developed! <<less

It’s nice for a family love type of story. The dynamic is quite smooth and caring between MC and her adoptive family. By chapter 76, MC has been accepted by the entire family. We see slice of life interactions. Nothing major has happened. I like the dynamic between MC and her sister. ML has been introduced but no big impact.

I thought this story would be like other "hearing inner thought" story out there where MC would occasionally share some gossips in her mind but it turned out, this was a different kind of that story.

In this novel, MC's inner thought would only serve as a bridge for her and her adopted family to get closer since from her mind, her adopted family knew that MC wasn't a scheming woman who wanted to usurp the real daughter's place. She did also changed the fate of her adopted family, but unlike... more>> other story where the family were the one who actively avoid the death flag based on MC's inner thought, MC in this story was often the one who took action without revealing too much to her family.

Nothing too exciting happened though since the story focused more on familial love between MC and her adopted family. There's also love story between MC and ML and it's equally heartwarming.

Spoiler

I love how the author didn't downplay ML's mental problem in the name of love. At first, MC and ML indeed thought that they could overcome any obstacle just by loving each others but after MC knew that ML forced himself to watch her race despite his discomfort and when ML knew that he became MC's shackles, they rationally evaluted their relationship.

When ML chose to let go despite of fearing of losing MC, it's quite heartbreaking to read but I know it was for the best since he had to cure himself first before he could become MC's support. But I'm glad that MC was still waiting for him in the same place and they had their happy ending they deserved.

I’ve really loved this story. I wanted to read a story like this after I began reading one but had to stop because the ML would be her adopted brother. Anyway, I loved the family dynamics, even if the brothers were a bit much sometimes. The romance for me was also cute, loved all the couples involved. Did not care at all for that acting arch but it is what is it.

I love this story! After I finished it, I immediately went back and read it again! If I wasn’t trying to diversify myself I would’ve gone back for a 3rd read! I laughed a lot, cried a bit and adored the different kinds of love portrayed. All I have to say is that the protagonist halo is blinding in this one. Everybody loves her and it really doesn’t take much time. She’s highly sensitive and intuitive. I think what makes her family love her so much is how aligned her... more>> inner and outer thoughts are. Her inner may be more brazen but she pretty much says it as it is.

Things I didn’t like:

Spoiler

She met the OG Jing Yi and it didn’t feel like anything was truly resolved. They had a spat and OG just disappeared while denying everything.

In the epilogues where they went back in time to meet little Jing Yi, Grandma Jing was never mentioned, only the Grandma from the orphanage. Grandma Jing was the character that gave me the most heartache. No one was truly at fault for the disappearance of Zejun (except the bad guys) but she punished herself for over 20 years. With how much Jing Yi loved Grandma Jing and would often talk about her, I feel like the epilogues should’ve shown Grandma Jing loving on both granddaughters and enjoying a complete family.

[collapse]

Things I loved:

The family love is obvious but the sisterly love was precious. Next was the bickering between Yi and Zeqing. After that was how the dad keeps getting pushed out of favor with his wife by the girls and later by the grandson. Poor patriarch gets no love LMAO. Lastly, Zeqing picking on Shen Huaichu (Jing Yi’s boyfriend -> fiancé -> husband).

Overall, if you’re looking for a feel good story about family, loyalty and loving life, this story is for you! Lots of laughs, girl power and lowkey luxury. A sprinkle of schemes and flies for antagonists. I’ll definitely be re-reading this often <<less

I'm so glad I found this novel.

The MC and her entire family were endearing and loving. It felt natural and genuine.

The MC's family being able to hear her thoughts was just an element that added delight to my reading experience since it was not designed to change them or their decisions but just an instrument so they can get to know her better.

This novel just really made me happy while I was reading it.

Honestly this is leaning more towards a 3 stars storywise, but I will go for one higher because it made me happy.

The story is simplistic but heartwarming, ar times it can be bland but overall it was a good read.

The characters aren't particularly memorable, though the love interest was a breath of fresh air in the usual domineering CEO trope.
