This is ur typical cliche story but with a lil bit of fantasy spice in it, tbh I actually read without expecting any sh*t but well here I am enjoying every bits of it.

I thought It's gonna focus on entertainment circle and shitt but well im wrong, It's mostly focusing on the leads interaction (ofc) and uncovering ML past, It's kinda out of no f*cking where when he suddenly bcm so OP when It's introduction said he's just a mere human but well, like any other clice story, he's actually... more>> one of the most powerful beings.

i read the synopsis and im willingly read clueless useless female lead 🗿 but hey, there's actually a reason behind her dumbness!

FL - 4/5 I did thought she's annoying and too marry sue but well It's alrdy written on the synopsis and ion really mind, mid way I did enjoy her chara tho.

She's ur typical weak innocent white Lilly pure dumb snobbish Female lead, but there's a time when she actually act strong, even tho mostly she's always weeping and weeping but well, ion really mind. I read it and expecting her character to be like that.

There's actually a reason why she's so dumb and act like a fricking three years old (early chaps)... If u play genshin u probly know this. It's like focalors and furina situation.

young MC encounter ML who is a taoist? (Demon killer) and they bgn to fall in love with each other, but ofc ML family cannot support this idea so ML kills them in order to bcm with FL, but in the mid way he died. Unwilling to leave her alone he leave his obsession to protect the young and frail fox (FL) while FL she just can go honestly lol, but she's unwilling to leave him, even tho he's alrdy dead and It's only his obsession left but she cannot leave him alone.. 😭

So she seperate half of her conciusness to stay by ML (obsession self) in the forgotten city. THATS why she's incomplete and bcm super frail and dumb

Dw after she got her half self back, she actually turn a bitt smart (a tiny tiny bit lol) at last now she aint have this clueless look whenever someone tried to harm her.

ML -im bias towards yandere... Yk Thats my nasty guilty pelasure sooo cant rate him.. but he's indeed a crazyy, even tho his craziness aint really detailed on narative (like WCE/HOL) but well he's the same kind as them lmao.

At first you're confused why he suddenly want her and not so scared when FL suddenly turned to her human form, but It's bc

Anyw, It's quite enjoyable. The text is a bit goofy (kinda) and pretty light (It's kinda suprised me how author can kill ppl so easly.. bc imo the story has pretty sweet and light words and I thought no killing included but welp I was wrong) so dont read with ur full braincells, just leave some in the corner of ur room to fully enjoy this cliche ahh story. <<less

Tbh, I saw this quite a few times but I always ignore it because of the note that the FL isn't a strong one (in short, not my cup of tea). However, I decided to give it a try and I found myself entertained. Yes, the FL isn't strong but she's definitely not the damsel in distress that I dislike, at most, she's just a little dumb and naive (but in a funny way). She can actually also be strong especially when someone tries to harm the ML or her... more>> favorite mother. I actually quite like her. As for the ML, well, he's a yandere through and through. My thoughts about his attitude towards the FL is somewhat complicated. He's indeed very possessive but at the same time, he pampers her a lot. Just, you know, in his past life where he already marked the FL as his when she's just literally a cub is somewhat questionable. (๑¯㉨¯๑) Nevertheless, I quite like the story, unlike what I'm expecting that I'll drop this because of the synopsis. Again, the FL isn't weak and definitely not easy to push down like what the synopsis said I mean,

She killed the red fox who threatened her mother, she killed the female cannon fodder who wants to harm her and her child, her first thought when she saw the corpse of the person who was killed by her brothers because the latter tried to kill her is to bury the body. Tell me, such a person can easily be pushed down?

. She's actually strong, but not OP. So can I have the liberty to edit a few words in the synopsis? Because the first thing anyone would think when they read that the FL isn't strong is that the FL is weak, like a damsel in distress who's weak physically, mentally, and emotionally. You see, being strong emotionally and mentally is another kind of being strong. So I believe, the FL is somewhat strong too. Also, I don't think she's saintly. Yes, compared to her family and the ML, she's kind, but she's not blindly righteous. At the beginning, she's just an ignorant fox, thus, her empathy is very strong, despite that, she never pities those who are truly evil. As for the plot, well, the story is actually more focused on romance but there's still some outside the romance story such as the conflict between the wolves and the foxes, the short time where the entertainment industry is mentioned, the ML's past experiences, etc. Overall, it's actually pretty good for me. I quite like it. 9/10. <<less

Fluff fantasy romance with some mystery uncovering the past. The male lead ends up having a pretty surprising background. She is pretty dumb and naive at first, but becomes normal when she regains her memory. As a warning he is definitely a yadere.

The summary is quite accurate as is the disclaimer in the summary. It's a cute story so far as the MC is mostly in fox form. The storyline revolves around MC living her daily life as a fox. We also don't have too much backstory as of yet. Not bad for a fluffy piece but it can be a bit boring because nothing is really happening.

So many unanswered questions. What happened to her mother? Why was she wandering alone? Did she sign a contract with that fatty manager? If so, how did she with no ID since she's a fox? How is no one questioning her disappearance??

Also, how is the ML just rolling with her being a fox that turns human? I'm guessing perhaps he's also one - there was some mention about a wolf? It is suggested that MC and ML might have some forgotten past together.

I actually enjoyed this despite plot holes and kinda cliche of trope with naive/innocent FL (Zhi Yao) and yandere/overpowered ML (Pei Chi Yao). If you don't like violence, better not read this. Most main & side characters were shape-shifters (wild & powerful species) so their way of solving troubles (canon-fodders & villains) were fast & most of time about immediate unaliving.

The plot twist and past connection between leads were actually good. The FL has childish mentality but I didn't find it hateful and got good points which complimented the yandereness of ML in both past and present.

FL's childish mentality/foolishness was due to Ji Qingpei (ML's 1st life identity), he wanted FL to depend on him. After the seal lifted, FL became more "slightly" independent & smarter but still naive. This was the con for me, the ML got freepass on this issue.

He literally sealed a part of FL (Zhi Yao) 's soul so that she wouldn't leave him, hence a part of herself was left in that missing/disappeared town from where they lived years ago in the past. His obsession with her even in the past led to him also leaving a bit of himself, his obsession, being a figure of his past self and taking care of the little fox Zhi Yao that was sealed away. This was mostly the reason why FL is incredibly naive, innocent, and dumb, because her soul is incomplete.

I find it hilarious tho whenever something happens and the author describes that FL isn't dumb so she knows what's happening, but then proceeds to narrate the whole story with the FL being literally dumb 90% of the time XD. I'm glad though that she didn't actually stay that dumb until the end. Her innocence and naivety did stay but she wasn't that dumb anymore. After her soul was unsealed, she slowly started to show her wolf side from her father's side of the family. Not that she's suddenly so strong, but more so that she'd become more braver than how she was before. She also threatened people and even actually killed someone by the end of the novel.

Their children was also very cute! I get the idea that the daughter was more cherished since she looks like the FL and the wolves rarely have daughters, but I still find it a bit sad that Fifteen is not as cherished as Little Lychee is. His name was literally chosen simply because he was born at that time T_T. Although in the story itself, that doesn't seem to be a big deal as Fifteen himself isn't bothered by it, but realistically speaking, that's concerning but I guess that's just me XD.

Overall, I liked reading this. FL isn't a Mary Sue but more like a damsel that mostly needs ML to save her and take care of her. Not the best for me since it gets a bit cringy from time to time because her dumbness from the start of the novel was literally on another level that I did stop reading for a while but they were a cute couple and again, I read this for the ML yandere so here I am completing it now lols. <<less
