- Loved the way the both leads are portrayed. If you want reborn FLs who suddenly become world-class strategists/business women/ femme-fatals- then this is not a story for you. The ML here is powerful but not OP.
- And yes, it is agonizing to watch them dance around each other while you rip your hair out screaming "TALK TO EACH OTHER DAMMIT!!" But it does feel a little more realistic. The post-partum depression, lack of communication, crossed-wires and the fact that its easy to scream at 2D characters and say "they should have know" or "how s*upid can she/he be" might make readers shy away since it is not a light-hearted romance but honestly this story is a palate cleanser! And all the above are things that real-life couples do undergo.
- Translation. Really good translation. FYI the manhwa has proceeded beyond the novel (no pressure to the translators... really no pressure! I would always prefer quality translations over MTL)
Many might be annoyed at either leads (FL for being a less-than-stellar mother and ML for being an overall lousy husband and father) but in my opinion unlike today; post-partum depression, how isolation messes with a person's emotional and mental state and the fact that you might give birth to a child at the age of 22 but that does not mean that you are mentally mature and motherhood just "naturally" comes to you-... more>>I could not stand when I reached the part where we find out the truth, originally the MC looks like a bad mother but turns out it wasn't her fault. Misunderstandings, miscommunication, and what the male lead did. Honestly, I cannot help but loathe the male lead, and feel so terrible for the female lead. You will understand later in the story.
She was sick and mentally unstable, with no-one beside her, and yet they blame and-. She didn't know what was going on, not knowing it was due to her pregnancy. It wasn't her fault, but theirs due to the neglect she faced. While they aren't entirely at fault, she was felt alone during the whole process. She had suffered from pregnancy depression, with no one around her. Not her family nor her husband. And her husband never told her that he loved him, making her more alone. He was always out, and she was terrified, not knowing why she couldn't care or love her child. Having depression myself, I couldn't feel anything but pure dislike towards the male lead
