Just half way through the novel and surprisingly, I am enjoying it.

When reading acting novels, I look forward to the roles the MC will pick, so that also means the ‘story’ of the drama works, or movie he’s going to participate in. So far, there are a few works in the novel that I found interesting, but admittedly lacked impact than what the author tries to portray. Well that’s just me though.

Still, I found the characters fun to read. The focus also switches to other characters and I personally like... more>> the MC’s dry sense of humor. He’s not cynical or anything, just... he had a fun humor.

The start of the story was slow, and the backstory of the MC is not a new trope. I read a different novel with an almost same synopsis (except that novel’s plot is heavy and deep in terms of tackling with the MCs trauma- who is quite scarred imo). This novel is lighter... since the MC didn’t really feel troubled about the controversy he encountered in the past. Rather, he felt more deeply of the cause.

I enjoyed the banters between the MC and the characters around him, and some of their conversations are relatable (like something you and your friends would talk about or say).

If you are looking for a light acting novel with a genius MC, this is a good enough piece to past time. <<less
