So far, all characters introduced have been incredibly flat, caricatures that barely resemble a human being.

All antagonists are utterly evil villains with no complexity or even slightly redeeming factors, and somehow have transformed from office workers and CEOs into pure unadulterated evil rapists and mu*derers in a single day of the system apocalypse occurring. It's just such a stark change, fully jumped into with no shock, horror, fear, or anything like that slowing them down - from normal people to incredibly inhuman mu*der/rapists, all in a single day. It's just... more>> not realistic and unless you can turn your brain off while you read, not very enjoyable.
