Note that the novel has been possibly already dropped, I even waited 2 weeks before I read it to have more chapter count... but it was useless...

Frankly, I really liked the novel. The prolouge was very strong and interesting. But... it turned out to be a big clickbait, and a completely different genre / story telling. Once the story actually started it was just the dime a dozen vrmmorpg game and a player playing it. With this trope, unsurprisingly the author didn't avoid the reliance on filler content to beef... more>> up the "gaming" parts. However, the worst part of this all was the pure plot armor / holes.

The MC with arbitrary reasoning and poorly designed skill system, and a world background of the player community being filled to brim with plotholes, the MC outsmarted everyone and found a hidden skill path tree, that no one in the beta test nor now knows about. With explanations that people reset their characters multiple times to find new skill paths... but the way it is found is so cheap and idiotic to say that no one has ever found it.

You can also tell the author has complete zero amount of prior game design in his record. The whole experience system and skill system is so dog sht. There is no level system and only a skill tree, whatever thats fine. But there's not even a point in nerfing your character as the MC had done to game extra starting points when she easily gained a lot of experience points (quadruple her amount) in mere minutes. And the worst part of it all is it us constantly explained that no one has ever done it before! The MC is a genius! It costs so much exp and it's so hard to gain that no one would invest their endless experience points to try skills of other branches, cause gamers obviously don't test stuff especially in a BETA test!

Maybe it will turn out she got transmigrated into the game world, as the slim possibility the starting prologue wasn't complete clickbait, there will be some saving grace of hope left in this novel, else an easy 2 stars for how bad the countless world shattering plotholes there are <<less

MC is a f*cking idiot. She commands an army, and is weak against sunlight. So what does she do? Jumps right into the most obvious ambush ever, alone, and takes off her armor, exposing her to the sunlight. She then proceeds to get her ass kicked and cries about it—literally, an entire chapter is her sitting on the throne sobbing tears (VR tears I guess) and comparing her dying in a videogame to an IRL traumatic event. Keep in mind it's been, like, two days since launch.

The VRMMO setting itself... more>> is complete nonsense, not even worth complaining about. The author has clearly never played an MMO before, and perhaps even a game has eluded his grasp. The game is severely unbalanced, but that's par the course for VRMMO slop.

The author obviously wanted to write an Overlord story, and I guess VRMMO was popular at the time so he tried to cram that market in to. The result is that we have a game where everything is super realistic, with NPCs with real lives and feelings, powered by millions of AI processes. How on earth are they making money?

It's impossible to take this garbage seriously. <<less
