A trainee priestess under the protection of the princess.
An orphan abandoned in a mysterious forest.

And…

Frea, who sees other people’s emotions in colors.

Positive emotions appear as golden hues, while negative emotions manifest as black.

Her mysterious ability remained a secret known only to her.

During her pilgrimage to become a priestess, Frea woke up in a strange man’s bed.

“Who… are you?”

The man, Aran, glared at her with glowing red eyes, his tone threatening.

Aran looked exactly like the hero in the mural she had seen and admired since she was a child, even sharing the same name.
However, she couldn’t see the colors of his emotions.

At first, she thought it was just a dream, that she had been having strange dreams repeatedly.

But now… it doesn’t feel like a dream anymore.

Who is this man?

And why does she keep going to him in her dreams?
Why does it seem to be about “her”?

By far one of the most compelling novel I have read so far in a short amount of chapters. The introduction of the characters starts off a bit confusing as it jumps between dream state and reality, but as the author clears the confusion of the introductory, they add other minor details within the characters' monologues that makes the reader become engaged to learn more of the world building and what are the real identities of the main characters. The characters are interesting as we get to learn of what... more>> they know and how it plays into their dynamics as they're curious about each other, but never poking into each other too deep, afraid of crossing boundaries. Genuinely I love a story with small details added to the plot that makes the audience theorize about the plot while actively reading. Also major kudos to the translators for the amazing translation! <<less
