It’s been two years since I joined the Hero Party as a porter and key-bearer, traveling on adventures.

Finally, I’ve been waiting for the day to kill the Demon King and return home.

But the people I never want to see again keep lingering around me.

The problem with this specific genre of novel is that the betrayed korean guy never actually leaves. The author always contrives some reason as to why the MC has to be around the harlots who are too f*cking s*upid to realize what they've done to him.

Spoiler

The saintess quite literally prays to the goddess to ask her what her and the rest of party have done wrong. The goddess of course, doesn't answer, probably because she's so utterly confounded as to how someone could be such an unfathomably evil piece of sh*t and not even realize and was thus left speechless.

[collapse]

I've yet to see it done, but the best way to have this kind of betrayal novel go is for the MC to actually go back to earth and have alternating POV's between him and the morons to see how they're suffering while he gets to live it up back on earth. I suppose that's too hard for the "authors" of these novels though because they want to have their cake and eat it, too. What I mean by that is they want to have a harem and tell a deeply mid story of betrayal. Not revenge though, because the targets would be the harem members and we can't have that, oh no. How are pathetic neets supposed to project onto that?

Anyway, all that was a long-winded way of saying don't read this, since you've already read this if you've read any other novels with a similar *read identical* premise, plus this TL has an upload speed that can be measured in ice ages, so you won't even get to have quick catharsis with this one. <<less
