Mikkanen was born as a mob character in the legendary death game “Hunter of the Fairies.” Based on his knowledge of the game, he believed that the only way to survive was to be “banished” from the party, so he worked hard to gather hatred from the members. However, after rampaging through hellish battlefields, Mikkanen was praised as a hero, making it unlikely that he would ever be “banished.”

Growing desperate, Mikkanen became willing to use any means necessary. He tried to convince the party members to “banish” him, but somehow, the members who were supposed to hate him showed him intense, overwhelming love instead…?

Thus begins a battle that no one even knows who wants—between a mob who wants to be “banished” to escape the death game and completely obsessed party members who have no intention of letting him escape now!

So, as said in the summary, it's the story of Mikkanen, a member of a 'heroes party', who wants to flee the battlefield so bad that he tries to convince the other members to banish him, but it's somehow impossible...

Truthfully, Mikkanen's party is horrifying. Even if he didn't want to flee the battlefield, it would be normal for him to try and run away from his party members. They are all crazy!

But they are not the reason he wants to flee (since he didn't know until he tried to get... more>> banished). So why does he? Let's be clear, it's not a misunderstanding based story, and Mikkanen doesn't underestimate himself. Mikkanen's party is considered a "heroes party' because they are extremely powerful. It's not an overestimation or anything like that: they are OP.

BUT he just doesn't want to risk his life since he knows that humanity will win in the end and wants to still be alive at this time.

Then how did he become such a hero?

The thing is, in this world, in order to boost your power you have to fulfill one special condition, and basically, that one special condition is the exact opposite of who you are. In Mikkanen's case, he's someone who absolutely doesn't want to risk his life on the frontline, so the price for power is to never think of fleeing (while using his power). And since he keeps advancing on the battlefield no matter what, everyone thinks of him as the absolute hero (^^')...

And, sadly for him, these 'power-up conditions' are also part of why his party is completely obsessed with keeping him here. For example, Isfana: her superior power (everything obeys her words; with one word she can make ennemies commit su*cide) makes her feel superior to others, so the condition for her power-up is to follow someone with absolute trust and devotion... and the only person who managed to make that arrogant girl feel that way is Mikkanen. So, she would be useless if he's gone.

And of course, the only reason Mikkanen knew nothing about it and tried to convince his party members to banish him (thus triggering their obsession), is because he was trying so hard to be hated that he never properly talked to any of them.

So, well, yeah, this guy is totally trapped! And it's pretty... well? creepy... if I'm being honest. But it's fun!

Some parts are quite sad and gore, though. <<less
