He loved martial arts.

But martial arts did not love him back.

Until his last breath, it turned away from him, leaving him to die in lonely solitude.

Yet, when he opened his eyes, he found himself embraced by a level of favor from martial arts that he had never known before.

And this time, he was born into the Namgung clan, once known as the strongest family under heaven!

In contrast to his past life as an orphan with no family, this time he has many family members—people who care about him, bless him, and love him.

In this completely reversed new life, the youngest son of the Namgung clan, Namgung Mugang, immerses himself in martial arts, treasuring the precious people who have come into his life.

It’s a story of warmth and joy as he sets out into the martial world.

Don't waste your time with this. The translation is dismal at best. I stopped at chapter 15—I decided I'd had enough at that point.

Names are being misspelled left and right. I can't even enjoy it. I'm not sure if they have an editor or not, but at the very least, make it readable? I kept thinking it was a new character, but no—it was just a new variation of a previous name. Like, seriously? I've read MTLs before, and they hurt my brain. I felt my brain squeezing out all... more>> its available nutrients just to make sense of them. But this? I can't find it in me to continue.

Anyway, the MC is a child protagonist through and through. Don't get me wrong—I have no issues reading one. I've read plenty like that, and if I find the main character interesting, best believe I'll be there! But this? Nah. I have patience—patience is my middle name. But, er...

The characters in this story were just not interesting. I felt like I was being told things instead of being shown them.

I've never seen anyone kiss a** as much as they do here. I actually found it funny—maybe the author was trying to elevate the stale characters? Maybe he was trying to differentiate something? Either way, they were making observations a kid could come up with and then getting praised to the nines. It got tiring. I felt like I was reading about a parent who praises every little thing their kid does just hoping the kid will shut up.

Those are my thoughts—feel free to form your own opinions after reading it. I'll say it was a journey, at least. Thanks! <<less
