Next thing, I despise the ending. I think it would have been a more reasonable ending if she died with the brothers rather than them just dying and then coming back alive cause they ate a ton of spirits. Also, it would have been better if author explained more thoroughly how the brothers managed to gain powers as normal humans. Just cause their teacher is a witch? That don’t make sense though. Like, how the hell are they shootinf fire and oil? Do they have a spirit bond, or is female lead sharing her spirits with them? Like, I need to get a sense on how they’re so OP.

Anyways, back to ending, yeah, I hated the ending. Considering her mental state, I don’t know how the f*ck she came to the conclusion that she needed to atone for their deaths when she was literally depressed for half of the novel and suicidal seeking for the last 2 chapters. Like, I understand the brothers set up a trap to make her reliant on them, especially with the younger prince being a puppet and telling FL to atone, but like, she literally blew up in flames and you’re telling me she ain’t dying. What the f*ck was the point in her blowing up in flames then. Just to prove that the brothers made their point of being immortal?

Literally, the ending would have been so much better if she just died with them. It’d be a sad ending, but a satisfying one cause you know she seeking death and they can’t live without her.

Personally though, I would have loved it if the author made it so that only she died so that the brothers would learn to regret being so obsessed and forceful towards her. After all, she really did love them. If they told her that they didn’t want to leave and that they loved her romantically, she probably would have just been like, “Okay. I’ll try to learn to love you guys romantically too cause I’m a lonely witch with nobody else but you two.” But nope, they had to drug and r*pe her cause she tried to have them leave and they considered it abandonment. And then!!!! When she regained clarity, they hated it cause she wasn’t under their control anymore.
