This is not a serious story at all, it's not immediately clear but it's mainly a gag comedy based on misunderstandings.

If that's not your thing then turn back now, otherwise it makes for a decent lighthearted read.

I mean it wasn't what I expected, that's for sure. Took me until c20 to understand what was happening cause arc 1 is really bad and left me a God damm headache trying to read cause the author doesn't give subtle hints on how story is progressing and wants you to think.

Edit: yeah the story Is better then I remember

It's fine if you like the idea.

Pro

    • MC isn't an a**hole, yet is sent into the body of an a**hole. I love settings like that
    • I'm curious on where this is going
Con

    • Way too bling, with author reminding us on how MC is rich every chapter. OK we got it, no need to tell that all the time.
    • MC could use some more IQ points.
    • Right now (ch35), it's way too simple, but it could get better. Edit : it does not.

What a wild ride. It's a bit of a slow burn until chapter 40-ish, but around that time in the genre takes a sharp turn and it becomes so much more interesting. If you ever wanted to read a story about a MC with maxed out Charisma and Luck stats, this is the one to read.

Pretty major spoiler:

Spoiler

His Charisma is so strong that he literally conquers other dimensions with it.

It's not Shakespeare (I mean what is on this site) but I found myself entertained. I really like how he goes from being somewhat cowardly in the beginning to having confidence in himself; you really see the MC's character growth. <<less

Im currently finish with the novel and the only I can say that its atleast decent it's quite short so it's easy to finish.

The MC lack of common sense and its quite funny. This novel are based on how op and rich the MC is. Its full of misunderstandings which I quite like to be honest. This do not have any sort of romance and for an No-Romance fan I love it.I will not tell any spoilers. And did I forgot to add that the MC is dense as expected.... more>> And that's it for my review. <<less

It's a fun read. A good time pass if you so will. Just don't expect anything serious while reading the novel. The comedy carries the novel that's the start and end of the story.

Ignorant OP protagonist, crazy loyal followers, harem without a harem, vast riches that only grow, Midas' hand, MS cries of envy. I've seen it somewhere.

Oh, yes, I remember now!

This is like tr*sh of the Count's Family had a child with Evil Lord of Intergalactic Empire))

10/10, this is going to be fun!

Upd: Erm... No. Not fun. Fails to grasp the absurdity of OP gags. Not even close to parents. And now the links are dead, too.

It's pretty boring, it was interesting at the beginning but now it's just really boring. It doesn't help either that parts of the translation doesn't flow well and is just confusing. The translator tends to mix up words or cut off sentences abruptly. You could read a paragraph and understand absolutely zero from it because it feels like everything is being translated word for word instead of properly translated to English.

Though the translation is bad, I still understand parts of what is happening because majority of the time it's just... more>> random people coming up and bowing down and praising the MC. It was funny at the beginning but at this point, it's just irritating how 2D these characters that pop up are. They have no personality and their raison d'etre is to be the MC's bootlickers. Literally, everyone in the entire world even some characters who actually interact with him are like that.

I'm not interested in continuing to read this weird wish fulfillment novel that drags on just for the sake of praising some random person for almost no reason. Oh wait, the reason is he's the grandson of someone powerful and he's good looking and rich and smart. Oh right, they also find out he is an SSS+ or more talent though they were still praising him like crazy before that. Everyone in the world exists for the sole reason of being a crazy paparazzi stalker towards the MC, nothing else.

I'm done ranting and I'm done with this novel, I don't recommend this to anyone even those who are interested in wish fulfillments novels as this is atrocious. <<less

My actual score for this novel is actually 4 but made it a 5 to increase the average.

I saw a lot if negative comments above which is mostly about the author inserting himself to the novel which I think is valid. However, I do think that the enjoyability of the story still outweighs that.

When I first started reading this WN, I found it a bit boring but was absorbed as the story progresses. The story is like a mix of Arifureta, To be a Power in the Shadows, and Legendary... more>> Mechanic (ch. 110-ish).

One advice I could give when reading the WN would be to just read it at face value and do avoid comparing it with other novels. Especially since the story isn't that dark and more of like a parody of sorts <<less

For some reason it won't let me 'rate it.' Maybe I will try again, but to me it is 2 Stars

Before the chapter status confuses you. This is chapter 43 of translator Active Translations.

So my review up to there is that this novel is really bland. The MC really doesn't do anything. Like. At all.

I don't know if he will later in the story, but up to the dungeon arc or the gate arc or start of it rather further threw me off. I was hoping he would maybe become... more>> somewhat bada** since he been absorbing skills from books. Or he has a power to leech abilities from books.

But what does our MC do?

A. Nothing but waste money.

B. Actually buys up a bunch of books and learns a lot of useful abilities.

C. Twiddles around with his thumb up his you know where throughout the novel being a side character.

If you answer C. I got great news for you, you are 100% correct!

That's right, he is a side character. He has no main action to the story whatsoever. He is by far a side leeching character.

He relies on money. Well that is good and all, he is rich, he has money, but what does he spend it on? Useless games to keep himself amused. Throws it away to his hench people. Yea, I can get 'well cause of that one thing' to not spoil it for those that didn't read that far. He does some good with other things in spending, but most of it is 'wasteful spending.' The author makes it clear to us how rich he is. Apparently his finances is like Bill Gates x infinity. And he doesn't at all use any of that money to improve himself more by buying skill books or learning multiple things, despite how fast he can learn such.

In fact he does nothing at all when he enter the dungeon, just standing around and just being there. I am just like. Bruh. What is even the point? I was hoping for some manner of face slapping, the MC doesn't do that. Other people do face slapping for him. The MC hasn't done anything. So far it has been a read about character build up, character build up and how his growth rate in mana and exp is a joke to.

He hasn't done a damn thing. Hasn't been in one great fight. Hasn't flex, besides flexing that endless wallet.

If you want to see a character just go around Pay To Win and do nothing, then this is the novel for you. This novel was made for you. To read someone just spend money and money and money.

If you looking for high action scenes, great fights, action pack and adventure. Well.....

I don't know what to tell you.

Weigh it however with 43 chapters in plus whatever ones Towel City release prior following up to it.

If MC actually did a damn thing I would rate it higher, maybe 3 or 4 stars. I don't think it is god awful to deserve 1 star, but it isn't that appealing either. <<less

A really fun novel. A normal guy finds himself in the body of something like THE richest second generation cheabol or what you call it.

In the original novel Jin Woo read the person he is should become something like a minor villain, which doesn't make sense to Jin Woo cause Lee has ridiculous power and authority with his wealth and background.

With his knowledge of the plot for the future and having received the protagonists OP skill, he goes down the path of conquering everything.

(some funny and some annoying misunderstandings... more>> and coincidences, but still a great read) <<less

It's a fun mish-mash of a lot of various elements from similar korean noves. Dungeons, Game Elements, Mosters, etc. There are lots of holes in the story and various plot points have been seemingly abandoned, but still a fun read all in all

!!! The first translator (towel city) split the chapters up in 3 parts. So read all the chapters (ch 56) befor you start reading active translations !!!

Story have potential, too early to judge, but it is a wish fulfilment type of story

Wow what a ride. This thing Was all over the place switching between a lot of different settings. The MC is constantly misunderstood and just bullshits his way through the story. Its pretty funny and definitely worth a read if you look for something light hearted with little Suspense.

It's a pretty good novel for those who only want some lighthearted story. The comedy was great though it got a little bit boring in the middle (in my opinion) but it became better again. If you don't want those "sasuga MC-sama" then this is probably not for you. The only thing that I thought it was too bad was he doesn't end up with anyone in the harem.

Spoiler

Though it is implied that there might be some romance with the secretary.

The first few chapters feels like it took your knowledge of English literature, grind it on a cheese grater and then sprinkled it on a bowl of Shite cereal.

Even if you could get pass how much of a spineless ret*rd the MC is, you'd need to deal with the absolutely atrocious writing style. It goes from third person limited for the MC, but then we're suddenly jumping to the thoughts of the MC's half brother, then back to the MC with first person thoughts, before going back to third person... more>> limited... Only to jump to the thoughts of the MC's grandfather while he's having a discussion with the MC's brother who is also doing a f*cking monologue.

It's absolutely atrocious! By the time you get through a paragraph, you'd have gotten lost because you took two left turns because you thought the italized text was the MC's thoughts only for it to be someone else's instead. <<less

I try to give most novels at least 100 chapters to pull me in, but this did not. It didn’t really appeal in the ways I was expecting it to, and there were times where I just couldn’t understand the logic or flow of where the author was pushing the story towards.

However, it’s not all bad. There are aspects of this novel that can be appealing as junk food. So if your looking for literally anything to read, maybe this is the novel for you.

I can understand the plot, which is about MC, who have reborn as Villain, and there's a Main Character (Hero). MC is scared that Hero will kill him, that's why MC works hard to become strong. MC even avoid any possible villain flags, which would lead the Hero to kill MC.

But, still MC wants to live as second generation young master. He just does random things, which leads the people to think him as KIND and GOOD human. But, MC thinks others think him as BAD guy. Regular misunderstanding!

There's only one thing which I'm bit confused, it is the relation between MC and his brother and father. The Novel only revolves around MC, I haven't seen and good POV of any other character. There are POV, but it used to just explain MC's deeds. We can't judge the other characters properly. Not only that, but the addition/ introduction of characters are really random. It's like, I haven't even finished eating what's on my plate, but you are serving me more food. Come on Mr. Author take it slow.

The novel shows MC's father as the main bad guy or, the boss. But, the Novel didn't even clearly explain what bad deeds have the father done. MC's elder brother clearly hates his father and tries to protect and thinks good of MC. But, WHY!?

If Mr. Author even once tried to explain how bad MC's father is, I think it will be really amazing. I mean, we should know how powerful the real boss is. MC' elder brother can clearly kill his father. But, haven't killed. This shows that if MC' father who is like a Emperor, is killed then the aftereffect can backfire, and it can cause more trouble for many people and even innocents.

How!? Think yourself.

Anyway, I have written very long, now my fingers are paining. Good bye〜

This novel was pretty decent at the start. I thought I would be getting a story about a guy that is op and people around him misunderstanding him. I thought there would be more interactions for existing characters. The author is constantly introducing new realms with new characters that fade into irrelevancy along with the current side cast. It is literally an info dump now about new realms and how things should pan out without his interference.

This is one of that novel that has an amazing premise and pretty good plot progression yet ruined by either the translator, the author themselves or both.

The premise of this novel is similar to the Tr*sh of the Count Family, except the MC truly ab*sed his power and did whatever he liked unlike Cale's tsundere altruism. The plot progress really nicely, the comedy is pretty on point and there are interesting twists here and there. The MC is fine, and the side characters did leave some impression at the very... more>> least so there isn't much to nitpick about in that sense.

Now, the thing that drag this novel down is the narration, the author wrote in the "don't tell, show" style but he did a terrible job on it, he gave no context about the world building and keep introducing new things without elaborating anything, the paragraphs were usually long but it either gave out repeats or no new information at all, thus making everything more confusing than it already was. Another problem was the scene shifts in the novel felt really awkward and abrupt, for example in one scene MC is musing alone about something then suddenly the scene shifted into a meeting room where MC talked with a lot of people about the thing that was completely different than what was the previous scene about, there was no elaboration about the previous scene and the author didn't bring it up again until a few chapters later.

Then there are the translators, the first translator felt like he was using MTL with minimal editing, making the story more of a jumbled mess than it already was while the second translator did a good job, he really need a good editor because the translation felt really rigid and the words didn't flow that well.

The novel didn't turn into unreadable mess because of this, it just made the whole reading experience painful if you try to think about it, thus making turning your brain off completely and trying not to think too much about it the best way to enjoy this novel, which is a shame since the world building and the details of this novel seemed really interesting.

Anyway, giving this 3* as of chapter 64, it isn't terribly bad and still a fun novel to read, I personally wouldn't actively recommend it to anyone though. <<less
