i love it sooo much! I'm so happy I discovered this masterpiece. The MC and ML are very much made for each other. I wish them happiness for the rest of their lives in another life and different worlds.

I was super happy that when MC went back on ancient times (after she left she goes back to the current era but went back to the past again because of an agreement with the ML and the system), she got pregnant! But im kinda sad for their son who got left behind. He ascended being an emperor too young without his parents. It gave us initial scenes that happens in his harem but im really curious what will eventually become of it?

i love love how the author gave us the MC and ML married life not only in ancient times but also in modern times. It made me really satisfied and give the novel a close ending. Thank you author!

Really really really good!!! I couldn't put into word on how much I love this novel that I even surprised myself and I hope this received more popularity after this because this is such a gem. FL transmigrated after accident and bound by a system with a mission to gain the emperor love 100%

ML is your typical emperor in ancient time who regard women with nothing but to bear his childrens, he favor a lot of women in his harem for their beauty but never care about the fight in the harem, FL is just one of his many concubines after 10yrs being on the throne, she was a beauty that can topple a country so she quickly became the new "favorite" but that's it, he find her attractive at first sight bc of her body and face so this is not love at first sight, FL slowly scheme her way to capture this dog emperor heart and challenge his bottom line again & again and don't worry FL is only doing her mission so there's no angst

despite FL being the most favored concubine ML still sleep with others women in the harem because it was his duty as an emperor but it was never described nor did he act intimate with other women, it's just a duty to him. He was raised to be superior and was never told to care about women feelings so the love he gives her was from his perspective only. But he slowly changed after realizing he's deeply "hurting" her being with other women and he truly loves her to the point of madness

Why I really love this as someone who hate harem fight and dog emperor like this ML and the ending.

the emperor love for yue mingqing (FL) went beyond everyone expectation including me, the way he slowly fell in love and couldn't live without her is so touching and so with yue mingqeng, they both love each other but FL need to leave after completing the mission bc of her family in the modern world so despite her love she need to leave but the emperor discovered her identity and the system and give up his 20yrs of life span and luck to be with FL till he's 50 and then followed FL to the modern world where he was reborn as an orphan & need to started from scratch then their sweet love story continue as a domeering president and top actress 😂

this has one of the best and satisfying ending, my only complaint is that it ended. I wish I could watched their love story with different versions in different world

PS: Their son might be having another book, his story is quite interesting

edit: I highly highly recommend this author other novel! It's so good! Its about a greedy and selfish woman who transmigrated into a book, beautify herself to seduce the crown prince and break his relationship with OGFL to became the empress! She was vicious, cold hearted and calculative and and will do anything to get his love. Anw it's one of the best novel I've read so far!

I recently finished reading this story (I MTL’ed it LOL), this is about a young woman who transmigrates into the emperor’s world with her system, "001"—though the system is barely present in the story. Her mission is to make the male lead fall for her 100%. The interactions between the female lead and the male lead are enjoyable, even if some moments feel a bit cliché and some plot holes here and there.

If you're into emperor-themed stories with a female protagonist, this is a good read. The (some) characters are... more>> well-written, and I appreciate how the female lead stays true to her goal of returning to the modern world.

As a heads-up, this isn’t a smut story. The bed scenes are hardly described in vivid detail (which is a bit of a pity), but it still works well within the context of the story. <<less

When I first picked up this novel, I was told the female lead was stunningly intelligent, captivating, and full of charm — someone who would shine in a palace full of intrigue. But as the story unfolded, it quickly became clear that those expectations were too high.

The protagonist is, at best, mildly intelligent. She repeatedly falls for petty schemes, overreacts to small provocations, and often behaves like a spoiled child. And while it’s true she excels at seducing the Emperor — to the point of almost being manipulative — her... more>> emotional immaturity is hard to ignore. It’s genuinely painful at times to watch a grown woman acting like a tantrum-throwing child.

The Palace Intrigue Arc had potential to be something compelling, but because the Emperor shields her from any real danger or consequence, there’s no real tension. I wanted real challenges, real growth. But since he favored her from the very beginning, she never had to struggle. Everything came too easily.

What also bothered me was how poorly the world and its characters were developed. The FL’s family barely appears. The story introduces a “001 system” only to use it for a cheap and unnecessary plot twist toward the end — the arc where the Emperor returns to the future adds nothing of value.

And then there’s the whole pregnancy arc — we spend nearly 200 chapters talking about her getting pregnant and having a child, only for the actual event to be glossed over in a few rushed paragraphs. “She got pregnant, the child turned one, then two, the Emperor died, reincarnated, the end.” That’s how it felt. No depth. No emotion.

Even the antagonists were forgotten. Concubine Xi, the Empress Dowager, the other princes — all left without a proper conclusion. The author just didn’t bother tying anything up. And honestly? That’s frustrating.

Now, when it comes to the male lead — he was one of the stronger parts of the novel. His development is slow and subtle. By the end, he’s deeply in love with the FL, and you can see that. But even that romance felt forced. I kept waiting for that one moment where I could think, “Yes, this is why he fell for her.” But it never came.

It feels like he fell for her just because she was cute and pleasing to him. That’s it. Sure, she seduced him well, and he started to favor her more, but there was no emotional foundation. Other women acted the same way around him, so what made her so different? The novel never shows us. It just tells us — and expects us to believe in this unshakable, unconditional love.

So if someone asks me if their romance was well developed, my answer is no. It wasn’t.

What I did enjoy was how often the author described the FL’s appearance — the clothes she wore, how she looked, how she carried herself. Many novels neglect this, but this one gave us vivid visuals, and I appreciated that. It helped my imagination a lot.

Still, it’s not enough.

The world is underdeveloped. The supporting characters are underused. The “system” is pointless. The modern world extras are unnecessary. And the main couple’s relationship lacks the emotional foundation it needed to make their love story believable.

That’s why my final rating is a solid 3/5. And even that 3 is thanks to the aesthetic appeal, potential glimpses of a better story, and the descriptive writing. Because as a romance and palace drama? This novel is a letdown. <<less

I found Yun MengQing quite novel and refreshing.

While other transmigrators mentally disatch from her previous life, this MC actually put first her conceptions on her family ties and her modern idealism of what actually a one on one relationship should be like. I adored her for putting herself first. And her returning back to ancient times was a decision upon confirming that QiYou would devote himself to her alone in a romantic relationship.
