Not sure why this has such low ratings; it’s a really interesting story. I thought it would be a cute and fluffy story, but it’s actually quite dark under the comedy SOL aspects. What’s interesting about the story is that we get thrown right into the middle of the story, and a big part of the intrigue is learning about the events that led up to the present. The characters are endearing and play well off each other; definitely a strength. I wish there were clearer descriptions of the appearances/defining... more>> factors of the side characters, though. All the male aides sort of mesh together, but the lady in waiting is pretty great. <<less

this is DARK. I don't hate it but I didn't expect it at all. I really thought this will be a nice fluffy story with a pinch of sadness somewhere. But then I was hit by pain and angst.

I'm not gonna write a spoiler but whoever is thinking of reading this, shouldn't get tricked by the tags.

Very dark story, a reviewer said she was doted etc... if being a tool, although willing is your idea of doting then ok...

This story despite the fluffy art is so horrible and heartbreaking that there is some strange relief that part of the fluff we see early gives us some hope, because this story is steeped in misery...

So much misery... If there are fanfics or future side stories... please author, I beg... Give MCs mother a wonderful life thats happy please give the 2nd prince amnesia... Never let him remember... more>> anything and give them both a life filled with joy, they paid highly taxed karma for the privilege! Sigh <<less

I was excited to read because I love reincarnated characters who went on business routes. Im interested about the doll business but all I get are scenes of people spoiling this lovely little princess of theirs. I have no hate for that but all resources and situation are ready for her to venture on that doll shop business but I get no scenes to read for that. All I got was “Oh no our precious little princess is moving out. How she gonna live her life alone?! No we cannot... more>> leave her alone. Let’s secretly spoil support her more.”

I love possessive/obsessive/doting characters but it’s just overboard and creepy when you have people secretly living in your attic for your protection and they literally observe you with everything and report to their master. Ew.

This is crazy, I just started reading the manwha and like- I'm already crying for her in chapter 5. I saw a previous comment saying how the story's mostly about people spoiling her after she moves away, but that's not it at all. Sure they do spoil her but there's a valid reason (spoiler below), plus she's learning how to sew herself based on last life's memories and she doesn't get all good at it right away.

I kind of get why it's titled Princess' Doll Shop. This is a very dark and provoking story. Additional trigger warning on SA, attempted SA and ab*se, pay attention on the tags. It's kind of like Puella Magicka vibe or movies made by Tim Burton or Pan's Labyrinth by Alfonso Cuaron - happy silly fluffy on the surface but dark and grimy underneath.

These two helpless mother and child living a doll like existence, praised, lusted and coveted for their beauty. Trapped in their guilded cage, MC mother and MC despite being gaining emperor's favor never had any power to even stand up for themselves. MC mother can only cry but she did her best protecting MC, I usually despise this kind of character but in this case it's justifiable, both have no powerful background to protect them from the lustful sob of an emperor's kin and kith. My heart really breaks for them both. To the point that I actually want the mother to die just to end her suffering (we all know how much she'll even suffer after being made a s*ave) and for the MC to disappear somewhere. Just... man this is such a depressing read. But the author did quite well in inventing this plot!
