This grandmother Wang (their neighbor), though the author work hard trying to show her as a kind, warm, and a good person, but in my opinion, she is not.

I feel that she actually like to make trouble to others and then let herself show as the knid one who solve it to them.

Like when the the ML first woke up from his coma, he literally was not able to move at all, he barly was able to move his fingers a lettel and sometimes, with deficult will be able to move his upper buody, but she this consider, kind neighbor, thought, "Oh, he already has woken up for a while, did he made his marrieg with his wife a real marriege (have sex) ? Oh, how can he not do anything? Dose he not want this good daughter-in-law of yours? if not, then he should not delay this good girl!" That's how she used to talk to the ML' mother, all the time.

So, and under her urguing, she gone to aske her son, -whom just start with so much difeculty parly pull himself up to half-sat on the bed-, what he thought about his wife? And what his plan with her, since he didn't seems to try to "sleep" with his wife since he woke up.

Which lead to the ML say, he don't have any thoughts about her, he see her as a younger sister, that's all.

So his mother took the FL as her daughter immediately and made a dinner, inviting people to annonce this matter.

Seriously, if anyone wokeup after 5 whole years, find he can't even talk or move a finger, all he can do is watching other with his eyes, if someone like this and he still want to "sleep" with his wife Now, I really would duobt that there is something wrong with his brain.

Going back to the matter. Now that the ML and FL start to have feelings twards eachother, but they already in a brother and sister relationship, this grandmother Wang, found it intersting to talk about them and gossip and tell her friend (the ML' mother) about this.

And blah, blah, blah.....

Anyway, I really didn't like her character. It's not that you can't see such person in real life, but what make me dislike her more that the author always trying to make her appear the most kind and sincer person you could see, but she isn't if you look at her character carfully.

And his mother, I really don't know what to say about her.

She usually too protacting of her family, espicially that her son is sick now, as pear her character, she should not listen to what this grandmother Wang say, but she did. And now that she found out that her son like Susu (the FL) she looked down on him, because in her opinion, if he want to like her he should have like her from the start and not now.

Seriously, she didn't even think that her son has just woken up and was in no way able to hold someone with "like". Now she look down on him while it was all becuase of her. 🙄

It's such a waste that the author gave FMC with a lot of money and assets. The story doesn't even pay attention to what happens with all her riches. Why even write it several times in the novel if you won't give a purpose for her riches. FMC gets money randomly through gifts - allowance from family members, a lottery ticket, and a stone with emerald/jade inside. These are worth so much and she also has dividends from being a shareholder in the ML's successful business. The author leaves it at that though. The author only mentioned that ML will find a financial manager for her and that's the end of it. Why spend a lot of words on these details if we won't get anything substantial about it. It didn't help the plot at all or even affect MC's personality or way of life.
