Really liked it. Would reread. I could not put it down. Had to MTL the reast.

The ML is a green flag and so sweet to the MC. I really like his character.

The MC is also very likeable character to me. The way he acts and all the was pretty cute to me.

The whole novel was a good read and the villains weren't bad characters either.

I wanted the story to continue cause it was soo good. The whole story was so fluffy. <<less

MC is an the ancient monarchial china's version of 2nd generation rich that transmigrated to stone age beast tribe. He a type of shou that needs to be spoiled. It faceslapping (mild at first then escalates per arc). The MC is a bit passive and is not combative tho, it was mostly the ML and his friend speaking up for him. Basically it's about the MC trying to live without the comforts of human civilization and introducing a few stuffs. Most of the conflict arise from people coveting the couple... more>> left and right.

When it got to the "city lord arc", MC found usage for his original identity (being a young master). He was reliant of ML at first but in this arc, he was able to use the things he are very familiar with in his previous world and faceslap the jealous, greedy b*tches who came at him. Personally, I like this arc better as the villains here had higher IQ than the tribe. And yeah, villains of this story are generally narrow-minded low-iq white lotus women. And MC's former fiance isn't any better. But at least I get to see him grovelling but not getting any chance. I gave MC plus points for that. TBF, MC may be bratty silly at face value but he had a bottomline. And maybe that is why those villains kept on underestimating him. He is always true to himself, is clear of his opinions and will stand to what he think is right.

It has it's own uniqueness. Unlike other stoneage-based stories, this is more about romance and MC's adventures in a stone age world. World building is just a backdrop. MC afterall is also from another ancient era albeit just a little bit advanced than ML's stick-and-stones technology or lack thereof. He did a few contributions tho but nothing jaw dropping/exaggerated. (and tbh I like it that way rather than him being worshipped like some God by aborigines like a lot of stone age novels do)

TLDR; An okay-ish story to read for past time. ML is pretty good. A green light gong which is part of the reason I enjoyed it. The faceslapping are entertaining afterall but if you do not like cardboard 2d villains better skip. <<less

This novel is not bad, but it's not quite the slice-of-life, infrastructure-focused story that I was imagining XD. As a result, I ended up dropping midway. Rather than infrastructure, this novel focuses mainly on romance and drama. Which is fine, but in a beastman/primitive-era-setting, it felt a little bit out of place to me. IDK, it may just be because of the MTL's quality that it felt weird (it's about 70% readable, but I can't be sure because the author is particularly descriptive and I ended up skimming lots of... more>> parts to do with appearances of the characters -- of which there was many!)

SUMMARY:

Anyway, the MC of this fic is a transmigrator called Wang Jin. He transmigrated into the body of a 'little lunatic' who had lost his memories and found himself in a foreign tribe. This tribe didn't treat the original owner very well, and even arranged for him to be married off (though, to be fair, this marriage was more of a punishment to the ML than the MC XD.) Speaking of the ML, his name is Yuan Heng. He's a powerful beast-man who can also be considered a foreigner. The person that the leader of the tribe likes is obsessed with him, and thus, he is forced to marry the lunatic.

The story begins after the MC and ML have been set up. The MC is a very spoiled and coquettish type of person. His body is so sensitive that he bleeds pretty much everytime even a bit of force is applied, so it's not completely because of his personality that he's so loud and domineering (though it's certainly a big part of it). As it happens, the ML is the doting and spoiling type. So, the two end up fitting together quite nicely.

THOUGHTS:

If you want to see a slightly not-so-typical spoiled!shou and doting!gong pairing in a different setting, then this is not a bad story to try out. I think I could have read it till the end if it weren't the MTL and the lack of ambition in the MC. It's true that he really just gets swept along with the plot most of the time. Mainly because his personality is designated to be as such (you know, lying down while bossing people around). I don't recommend reading this if you're sensitive to personality types like these, I guarantee you'll dislike it quite a bit XD. I don't mind because I enjoy reading unique characters, and this MC doesn't act spoiled for no reason. The author did a pretty good job setting him up with a background and physique that explains most of his annoying traits, and I find that interesting.

I also don't recommend reading this if you're looking for infrastructure-building or clan-building (which is what I initially read this novel for). There is a little bit of that, since the MC is given a golden finger (the ability to conjure formulas for food, equipment, clothes, etc.). However, it's definitely not the focus. It may be played with a little more in the second half of the novel, but I can't be sure. Whichever is the case, I'll come back and reread when the official TL is further along. Hopefully, at that time, I'll be able to enjoy the novel more! (For now, I won't be rating the novel because I read it mostly in MTL, and thus can't be sure if my impression is accurate XD.) <<less

MC, a rich but flimsy young master from an (i assumed) ancient era, suddenly transmigrated to a world filled with beastmen and ger, and unfortunately still transmigrated into a ger with frail body that can get hurt even by doing almost nothing, and a "lunatic" too.

Cheated, ML ended up marrying the lunatic MC (OG ger), decided to be good to his lil lunatic wife, and actually falling in love with each other. Ofc, the villain white lotus can't stand it, and getting crazy, trying to hurt MC while... more>> expecting ML to return to him, which is his fantasy only. Altho I despise the cannon fodder leader/chief, I do pitied him for loving the white lotus, esp for his miserable younger brother fate.

MC also has his own golden finger aka cheat. He becomes knowledgeable and knows things. He brought those knowledges and improve the life of the tribe he's living in while his weak body not even able to work on anything, and his part actually done by others. Imo, MC's setting is baffling enough, but hey, that's what the author wanted. Now fast forward to MC (the OG body identity) being found by his family, and actually has a noble identity, but unfortunately bullied to the point of insanity and ended up dead. Turns out his status is quite intriguing, and his relationship with ML was tested. Old enemies tried to hurt him again, but fortunately MC has replaced the OG, and ML is by his side to protect him.

Well, that's as far as I can write the resume til the chapter I read. Won't spoil the details. I'll update when I finished reading this one. <<less

Feels like eating fast food -- it's addicting, but it's also oily and not good for you in large quantities. It's not bad because I kept reading till the end, wanting to know what happens next (it's full of drama) but it's also not good because the plots are recycled over and over, it relies on peach blossom debts to keep things going. The MC's power to resist is a little too weak (way too weak, he doesn't even have verbal control) that the face-slapping scenes are still very unsatisfactory.... more>> I keep feeling like his character setting that hoisted him up as a proud and vivacious young master (almost holier than thou personality?) should be able to at least say a few words, not just rely on a side-character to explain the plot and fight his battles to the audience.

Lots of moments where I kind of just rolled my eyes at something in the novel. It feels like something I'd love to hate, but also is fond of because I'm having fun hating but liking at the same time.

Boring? But read it for the drama. Honestly actually I'd rate this a little higher than 3 because I want more people to read, it's fun!!!! But also it's not like... a quality read. This is my favourite tr*sh-sit com drama novel.... I love it like this <<less

Love this. Perfectly filled my current need to read something light and with fast paced fluffiness.

Sometimes you just want them to be sweet together in the first 10 chapters to let the dog food commence and other plot to happen, ya know?

Hmm.. What can I say? I'm a big fan of such beasts world and ger stuff that's why I read this. Love this but mc's personality isn't something I like. He's a spoiled brat lol. I wish he knows how to be grateful at some point. But he's cute tho fragile and vulnerable. Also idk if it's because we're only around 20 chp that there isn't much progress and it just only keeps involving around 4 people and that's it. I need more drama xD.

I liked the idea so far. It's unique with how MC's have 'cheat' but not the skill to put in use most of time. So the one who did all like Cooking and being the Handyman is ML. And then his bestfriend.

It was refreshing! He's not useless, he's just mostly like average people with little skill, though his past life is he has little skill because he's such a Young Master. But he's Adaptable.

I also like how he's Brave and dare to talk against annoying people. He's just not physically... more>> strong unfortunately.

Truly Love how ML is such a Handy Skillful Man. But he's not painted as Perfect.

So far the story is not bad. The Tribes also isn't bad. BUT there is Annoying People that give off ominous feeling for the future. Dont know how bad it could be...

Anyway I pray so hard the rest of the story would give us satisfaction! 🙏🙏🙏 <<less

It was entertaining. The protagonists love each other very much. The only thing not so pleasant is how they deal with the villains, but other than that, it's good.
