I really enjoy the beginning. He was smart, not OP yet and being a bit of a loner went about learning how to do things. Then a major turning point in the story happened and much of his adventurous spirit seemed to be toned down. He became somewhat OP too. I prefer my stories to be a bit more grounded.

The writing is a bit subpar. The characters are fairly flat most of the time. It just feels unbelievable that 7 year old kids are treated like adults. They mostly behave like adults too. I expect kids living hard lives to be more mature and responsible, but to still feel like kids. The author failed badly there in my opinion.

In the later chapters the MC behaves in ways that seem very s*upid to me and are not justified by his character or circumstances.

I have a question, I was wondering whether translator are using AI when translating this novel without double checking the spellings and words placed in the sentences since many times I got confused while reading the chapters, sometimes there's even repeated paragraph in there.

It has some things that annoy me every now and then. Like questionable intelligence and pushover characters. The translation can get pretty confusing too.

I am enjoying this quite a bit so far. It is a bit stiffly written, or translated, but plenty of humor can be found and the characters are getting slightly deeper by chap 41. Main character is a young reincarnated boy with a good soul who responds to those surrounding him and sharing love by giving the same in return. Good enough as background noise, probably very much someones cup of tea, I'm just a coffee person. There is never any sign of struggle, there is never any intensity, the characters are written with 2-4 features and the rest is about (the female's) looks.

You can tell a guy is writing when literally all the MC has to do is look good and blink for women to fall for him.

The MC is 7 remembers everything about cooking, while not remembering a damn thing about himself in his past life, conveniently letting the writer pretend the kid was practically an adult the whole time, except when convenient.

All characters fit under 5 or 6 groups and reply to convos according to said groups "motherly" female, female, child female, main character, s*upid bad guy, parental figure, maybe one more if necessary, motherly being in quotes and just referring to if he can be buried by dem tiddies. Child female according to whether they have thoughts of marrying the MC. They all treat the MC very similarly and would be very interchangeable within their groups, hell I wouldn't be surprised if the writer has mixed characters up in their respective groups and gotten away with it, since this story isn't about ingenious character writing, or plot or anything else really. Just the MC becoming the strongest richest probably eventually most kingest king to ever king, but since the writing is turbo slow it'll probably necessitate a time skip or 2 and 600 more chapters.

To top it all off, at least one of the "motherly" characters is underage. 3 hoorays for LN writers and oppai-sama.

Fairly decent so far, some parts are a bit clunky and some conversations are confusing. In my opinion, 7 years old is still quite young to start a long journey and be treated as an "adult" no matter the setting... Overall it's not a bad story so far but I might stop ready if it gets too status heavy, showing numerical growth is fine but once the MC starts having absurd numbers it seems pretty irrelevant.
