I MTL’ed this novel and dropped it out of peer frustration. A lot of misunderstanding between the MC and ML could have resolved IF THEY COMMUNICATED!!

Or if the MC just revealed that she was not the original MC and so the ML’s identity of whether he was truly her husband (which he is) doesn’t really matter!!

ML basically divorced her at one point and left without saying goodbye because he thought he wasn’t her true husband/father of the children!!!

It also doesn’t help that whenever there is a love interest or love rival, people’s IQ seems to drop. Luckily, MC doesn’t believed in other people’s words...

Still, this whole novel frustrate me and the ML doesn’t recover his memories until 300+ chapters.

Maybe the drama appeals to other people, but this type of drama only frustrate me and put me in a bad mood. I do not read novels to make myself feel awful. <<less

MC transmigrates into ancient times and has 5 kids to take care of. Lot of the novel focuses on making more money (selling recipes, setting up food stalls, creating a gossip newspaper) and fighting against a lot of cannon-fodder.

the novel gets pretty frustrating sometimes though, since it feels like a lot of the troubles the MC/her family faces could be avoided if they just was more cautious. Like multiple times the MC and her family members get roofied/drugged by cannon fodder characters that they let into the house. Like, don't... more>> let your enemy in for a cup of tea??

also the MC's eldest daughter-in-law was pregnant, but it was like the author completely forgot about that it. And then you learn 200 chapters later that she had a miscarriage. It was literally never mentioned before that point. I spent 200 chapters wondering when this poor lady's baby was gonna drop only for the baby's existence to be retconned in the most casual throw-away sentence. Unbelievable.

all in all, a pretty entertaining read if you like all the tropes. But a lot of misunderstandings and again, it can get frustrating to read at times when the characters are acting like dumbasses. To be honest I gave up before finishing the novel because I lost my patience with the plot and behavior of the MC and ML. But I stuck with it for 300 chapters at least. <<less
