this is so something.... I usually don't write reviews, especially if I don't like the novel, I just don't read it. but this one... the MC is bad and egoist, blaming others without trying to understand them, I can't read it anymore, the why the writer wrote this is an illogical story, it's too much. just don't waste ur time

The best QT novel I've ever read. You don't have the shou like MC, he's a gong. You also don't have the shou like shou. You get the gong like shou. Make that two gays transmigrating into different worlds and forced to follow the script to be the gongs of the author shou. Two gongs get pissed off and only want to bang each other but the script won't let them. Break the script, therefore die. So the only thing to do is to die. The novel is exactly how it sells itself, completely satire, and mostly poking fun at s*um gong, tr*sh shou tropes and stereotypes. MC and ML are absolutely hilarious together, with every arc. I could also understand their irritation and annoyance with the so-called shou protagonist. The only thing I dislike about this novel is how rushed the ending was, and how few the quantity of the chapters are. I feel like this could have a lot of potential for a long comedy novel stretching at roughly a hundred of chapters... more>> considering the number of arcs.

There could be more details to put some depth and background to the novel, some backstory, some causes for the shou protagonists power of transmigration and scripting. But unfortunately, the author seemed to have planned to just make a short satire novel, so I can't really expect much lol. Regardless, I still love the story. Since it spans just about twenty chapters, with the premise of satire comedy, I decided to give this a four of five. Worth a read if you'd like a good laugh, a re-read would be optional. <<less

  1. Don't be fooled by 5 stars reviews. After reding such good reviews I went to read the Story. But at the end I'm disappointed.
  2. The author wanted to show the MC who constantly transmigrating into s*um gong is how cool. But I found the MC is actually another scum, mean and doesn't have any good points except good looks

These past few days I've been combing through this website for good reads (Sigh! What a naive fool I've been.), and it became apparent quickly the importance of honest, unbiased, critical reviews. So with a guilty conscience for being a Ghost Reader, I decided to write reviews for all the novels I've read thus far so that the next reader won't fall into pit dig by 5 star reviews which read more like love letters to the novel....

Translation: Good. Grammatically and syntactically correct. Competent translator.

Storyline: Parody. Short and sweet. Humorous.

Highlight:... more>> Reversible couple. Enthusiastic consent. Healthy development of relationship.

An unsuspecting guy falls prey to transmigrating in generic s*um Top/Pathetic, ab*sed Bottom genre novels. Yes, plural. Interesting, isn't it? Given that it's a novella. The author had clearly mapped out the premise, plot line, parody elements and characters. No meandering, over-the-top fillers. That's the mark of a good writer. Are you moved yet?

The story has 3-4 arcs (do forgive me for not remembering clearly) ; our guy wakes up in a "overbearing CEO who's pinning after a married best friend" script, already knowing how it goes and naively thinks if he follows through he'll be fine. But the shoddiness of the script is too much to bear and he rebels, leading to death by car accident. What's interesting besides his internal critic is the easter egg left by the author regarding the 2nd male lead.

As our guy dies, yet again naively thinking this will be it, he wakes up as an "Cold, unfeeling Emperor who's bored of playing with the pushover scholar" - the torture has only just begun! (Insert evil laugh) But this time, he can only see ahead by a few steps that too limited to his character. This limited script knowledge has him anxious, also his death in previous script has him scared to stray from this one. As he marches on towards the melodrama of pathetic bottom, it's the second lead who has him intrigued.

And thus begins the hopping from one terrible writing to another, but now he's a fellow companion!

It's worthwhile to note that whilst this is a parody, the author have their own plot line going on in the background; this is not just an idle commentary on terrible, unimaginative writing that plagues the CNs in general.

I've disclosed too much as it is, so let me just say a few words on the ending - it suits the parodist nature of the novella; the ending is happy yet whimsical! :D

I really, truly, ardently wish there were more Main lead/Second lead stories out there, but alas, the tag doesn't even exist so, I despair.

I only give this 4 stars is because I wanted more.

P.S.: I feel like it's the least I can do to warn the new, novice readers browsing this website - Always Read the 1/2/3 star reviews before picking up a novel. Don't go for anything less that 4.5 rating. There's hope yet. <<less

Omg the MC is so unlikeable, he's definitely a douchebag with a terrible personality.

It wasn't Zhou Fans fault that he fell in love with a s*um who just took him as a stand in for his unrequited love, MC left just like that saying, f*ck your dead heart, like what the f*ck is that supposed to mean, is MC f*ckin s*upid ass MF.

I'm surprised by all these 5 star ratings, people really support bullies nowadays.

5 STARS!! ? This is a rarity for me. But this story was d*mn worth it. ? It wasn't perfect but it met all my criteria:

SMUT! ? ✔ STRONG PLOT ✔

LIKABLE MC AND ML ✔

... more>> BACK STORY ✔

TWISTS AND TURNS THAT KEPT ME HOOKED ✔✔

I LOVED IT!! ? It's a comedy and a parody so don't expect the drama to be over the top. And it's short so there is little character development. But the fact it wasn't overly long or ridiculously repetitive is a plus in my book ➕➕

I'll say this one last thing: only read this book if you're tired of the bottom playing the victim in BL stories and need a good laugh. ? <<less

people said MC was taking things out on the bottom or something. He literally never does that. And when the script is raping him/forcing him to have s*x or a romantic relationship under the threat of death, they felt bad for the bottom instead even though it’s clear pretty early on how suspicious he is. Also the MC isn’t s*um for not loving someone he’s forced to be with and the whole “satire is only funny when... ” review was so off base I wondered if we were reading the same story lol. Honestly it’s perfect as is and I love the relationship between MCand the true main love interest. Both are so fun, real, and interesting and I super respect them for not giving in to threats and coercion.

It's funny... I thought the Title was about the MC's frustration...

Anyway that was HILARIOUS! EPIC HILARIOUS!!!

You will see and felt like you can hear the Scream of the Frustrations of MC. And you will wonder how would this is Going...

Just, don't read it for Seriousness. This is Pure Comedy and Parody! It WAS Supposed to be 'Weird but Hilarious' and it delivers.

Love the Dynamic between MC and ML!!! So Fun!!!

It's purely for Fun novel and just Enjoy it!!! I'm Loving it!

REALLY REALLY GOOD

You see Author has said that it's just a casual fun writing that being said it's far from it to the point that even a picky reader like me can't find a fault with this.

Characters are all well written, descriptions and feelings are good and it seems like Author has a talent in being effortlessly funny

... more>> And the good thing is that it has a good quality in all the novel

Be aware that it's a short and light story and there isn't a big romance but I really like that part too

This is a hilarious satire, really subtle at first but it gets more and more blatant as time goes on. A good, quick read that doesn’t take itself too seriously so you shouldn’t either.

Baekhiee, please read the story till the end before you review. The MC isnt at fault that ZF fall for him.. He didn't even know him and was trapped because of zf's Prince disease. Anyone's reaction would be messed up if they are forced to act like that without even knowing why. People reading this, please condemn the MC after you've finished this. The MC ISN'T AT FAULT HERE.

ANyway, a nice, hilarious, short read. You will laugh till your belly aches. Give it a try!

I like this novel due to the fact that both of them shows their disdain towards that shou! Their thoughts are funny, especially when ML expresses his anger towards that shou. I feels that there is something wrong with that shou's mind; thinking that liking someone means the person could possibly like u. He's delusional.

Overall, I feel so great when they tr*sh-talk that shou.

This story really broke all cliché plot out there from the way the transmigration occurs to the romance. I like how because they were within a story, they had to follow every single step in it or else they had to face consequences.

Also good thing I found this because I was seriously getting tired of reading tr*shy weak uke who do nothing except complain when things didnt turn out the way they wanted it

Author of this novel, do you want me to die of laughter and inherit my everything? Honestly, It is 3 am and I'm muffling my laughter with my quilt. This is a fun and easy novel. Wanna read this again to have a good laugh. And the smut is yum yum. I like the pairing of gong x gong. With those pecs and washboard abs... Double kill!!!!

I'm scum, you're scum... let's make out

The premise was what really hooked me; two supposedly s*um gongs chasing each other instead of the intended shou... SIGN ME UP! It's quirky, hilarious, a really goofy satirical approach to already-known concepts. I loved it (not to mention the smut scenes too) & I'm hoping to find more works like it

Don't worry about a single review calling the MC a bully or abusive because they clearly didn't read till the end.

Seriously, read till the end. It's actually a bit funny in retrospect that people are trying to defend the 'tr*sh shou' thereby proving the author's point. The beginning deliberately misleads the readers and it's so well done when the reader actually finds out what's happening. Overall pretty fun parody novel. And it's like 19 chapters so you can just zip through the story, no sweat.

OH MY GOD!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! ?? This was absolutely hilarious! I enjoyed every moment of this novel. The way this novel satirizes the BL genre is just too awesome. There's more focus on parody than fluff. But the smexy stuff is legit. As a matter of fact, this novel has some the best smexy scenes/ descriptions I've read in BL. Especially, since it doesn't relegate the shou as being "weak", "feminine" or "trembling". In fact the shou ... more>>

is the 2nd ML/gong of the original scripts ? And the gong/MC is the main ML. Their interactions are awesome. I would've loved seeing more fluff but the MC seemed a but cold at times.

Before reading this, I was just finished with a tragic story... so my appreciation for the hilarity and absurdity of this novel is magnified tenfold.

I liked both the two main characters a lot. They're different, funny as hell, and creative with their insults of the tr*sh bottom. Actually, as far as a nonsensical novel can go, they're pretty reasonable at times.

I'll give this novel 5 stars for achieving its goal — being funny. It's a parody, don't expect it to be serious.
