This is one of those novels that started off strong, but slowly started to lose momentum as it continued, just to finally crash and burn at the end The novel creates the impression that it will have a harem ending, which I don't particularly love but I don't mind either. This is really frustrating because it feels like the author was writing a novel, and wrote most of it, then when he started posting people didn't like the harem aspect so he took it out last minute and just said published it with the most convenient female lead. To justify the ending Honestly I genuinely dislike those long weird love triangle novels where most of the characters end up unsatisfied and unhappy at the ending, and that's what this felt like towards the end, and that really ruined it for me. I was honesty half reading the novel just to see the happy ending with the FL that I genuinely liked to end up with him. Without it this just feels mediocre then a letdown. <<less

I somewhat enjoyed the world building in this story. The author also had a bit of an interesting powersystem, nothing really groundbreaking but enough to make me wanna read more. There is a large focus in the story about the MC growing more powerful and gathering the 7 deadly sins, however by the end of the story the author for some reason as if the story is already to long started to rush things along and pretty much what took around 350 chapters is then finished up in about 50... more>> chapters. The story from my understanding was at first not planned to have romance elements but later on shifted to more of a harem trope. Most of it just turns out to be smoke and mirrors by the end, again there is a lot of relationship build up with different girls until around ch 350 but then everything is rushed and streamlined up to the end. The story really seems to drop in quality around that point and I am not sure if the author just couldn't decide how to continue the story or if they just wanted to end it. <<less

Necromancer with evolutionary traits is about a necromancer with evolutionary traits.

The story wasn't supposed to focus on romance though it has got some romance. So you shouldn't read this expecting a story full of romantic stuff.

The problem is that the author introduced a female characters disproportionately and made them important for both the plotline and the MC. So the people who wanted harem more than anything else got involved and ended up getting disappointed.

There are a lot of issues, but the conversations aren't terrible, the pacing isn't bad and characters aren't one dimensional.

I think these factors are way more important to a story than the complaints we are seeing.

And we only have a single overall voting system here. Seeing this being given 1* while a lot of shitty stories with terribly written conversations and totally one dimensional characters makes me just sad.

The story has it's flaws, but it is one of the better reads out there.

There is a lot of mysteries in this story.

It's something worth reading without any prejudices or spoilers.

Give it a try, expecting no romance, then you'd probably enjoy it more

The story was doing mostly fine ignoring the occasional s*upidity from a MC that should know better until the alchemist girl suddenly lost all her brain cells and couldn't take a hint until she almost got the MC killed.
