The White Tiger clan is born with immense spiritual power, but in return, it’s much harder for them to take on human form compared to other demon clans.

Lin Lang is still underage. When she tries to transform, she can manage to hide her ears, but her tail always slips out. And whenever she gets excited, the glowing 王 mark on her forehead shines bright.

She once asked her mother when she’d be able to fully transform.

Her mother replied, “When you grow up.”

Lin Lang asked again, “And how do I grow up?”

Her mother patted her little head with a heavy paw and said, “By finding a mate.”

Lin Lang was clever. She heard that the fox demons on the other side of the mountain were experts when it came to mating, so the little white tiger climbed over mountains and crossed rivers to seek them out.
