One example is that she just came back and he lets her stay at his place, then she ends up mopping his floors cause she doesn't just want to live for free. He doesn't want her to work so instead of like, telling her not to do it, he just tells her not to break his mop leading to her thinking it must be a very expensive mop....

Like how he bought a large stuffed animal for her because all girls like soft things so he gives it to her right, and then later at night, he got jealous because he found out she secretly went to see her ex-bf's wedding and was sad when she came back, so instead of like, idk sitting down to discuss it with her LIKE AN ADULT, he instead just tells her to give back the stuffed animal. So she's just confused and was like, I thought you gave it to me, and he's like, did I say I gave it to you? No, he didn't explicitly say those words, but his actions of giving it to her was saying that. Like come on, that's soooooooo dumb. YOU, A 27 YEAR OLD ADULT MAN IS ACTING PETTY TO THE GIRL YOU'VE LIKED FOR 10 YEARS AND THE AUTHOR EXPECTS US TO THINK HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER??? So you're telling me all those years of missing her, you never thought that if she was still alive you would want to treat her better? Or tell her your feelings or show them at least so she knows you care about her??? Like, you never once thought man, I wish I had the chance to tell her or if I ever saw her again, I would never want to lose her?? Even if the story gets better further along, I still won't buy it.

The author explains that back when he first asked to date her, he said he'll wait a day or 10 years for her and she believed it. Ok, so she's a young teenager and yeah, sometimes you do believe whatever guys say to you. However, it's been 10 years, she already realized her desk mate has changed and she saw the wedding invitation for her ex-bf so going to the wedding without being invited is honestly, not a smart thing to do.

And I think the author wrote that so that later, the ex-bf can find out that she's back and maybe try to contact her again so the ML can be jealous or something. Idk, but the fact that the ex-bf happened to glance at her and finds her similar to a girl he once loved and then asking for the hotel security tape so he can investigate later, all this while he should have instead been focusing on his wedding with the wife he just married, makes me think all the male characters are jerks. If you've liked a girl 10 years ago who died, then later married another girl only to see a similar girl as your first love at your wedding, most people WOULD NOT try to think too much about it. Like, what's the point? You gave up your love and married someone else but you're still thinking about that first love? s*umbag!!!
