I'm only on chapter 7 and I already want to give up on the novel. Sorry, but the MC is so annoying; he doesn't talk and is distant with the ML who tries to please him. I read about the crematorium, and I hope it comes from the MC, who is so annoying. Okay, I understand that he may have insecurities, but then talk about it with the ML!! I'm going to continue reading the book until chapter 20. I'll come back with an update.

MAJ: I'm definitely giving up on this novel. I don't like this MC at all. We can clearly see that the author is trying to make him look like the victim of the couple when he isn't. The ML clearly deserves someone who really loves him. The MC is so obsessed with the story of the book that he becomes disgusted just by seeing the ML.

There are tons of sentences that say that the MC loves the ML but I don't believe a word of it. He doesn't even try to fight for their relationship and decides to break up with the ML even though the latter has done nothing wrong. Don't come to talk to me about the fact that he invited the "white moonlight" to their house, the MC himself agreed and then, like a kid, even though he's the oldest, he decided to sulk. I may seem heartless but the MC is even more so. It's crazy that they stayed together for years but the MC is not able to believe the ML or even fight for his relationship. For once in the story the white moonlight does almost nothing, all the problems come from the MC's insecurity. The ML is always the one who made the first move in their relationship so I can perfectly understand that he has difficulty talking to the MC about these feelings.

This is the first time an MC has annoyed me more than the actual villains of the story.
