She had possessed ‘Grace’, an ugly Duchess who never appeared directly in the novel.

The problem is that this role was scheduled to die soon, and her husband Benjamin was a likely suspect.

Grace wanted to live properly at least once.

To do that, there was something she had to solve.

“Let’s get a divorce.”

Benjamin, who was a sub-male lead in the original work, loved the protagonist, Aria, not his wife.

It was probably because of Aria that he killed Grace.

“I know that Your Highness doesn’t love me. I also know that you married me for the sake of the family.”

Grace thought he would be happy with the divorce proposal.

“My lady, why are you saying that?”

“Your Highness?”

“What did I do wrong? Did I make a mistake in serving my lady?”

However, tears fell from Benjamin’s eyes.

“My lady, if there is anything you want, I will do it. So please don’t leave my side.”

Status: c10 part1
It's still pretty early in the story, but I'm interested to see where this goes. There's a really strong sense of "everything is not what it seems". There's the way she remembers this story is supposed to go, the way she thinks it is going, and the way it is actually going, and none of the three are lining up.

It hasn't even given us any real clues yet, but it's well written enough that it's clear we have an unreliable narrator in the MC. The body she's possessed is so... more>> extremely depressed, that even she can recognize these feelings and emotions aren't her own and don't make any sense for the situations.

I'm not sure yet, but something is very off about the husband. She thinks he hates her and wants to kill her, every time they cross paths he's like an overeager puppy trying his best to win her affection and her attention, but we see these small glimpses where he almost seems like a villain.

It's worth a read so far if only because of how different it is, I'm curious to see where this goes and will update as the story progresses. <<less

I feel like it’s more detective mystery (the detective being Grace, the MC herself) rather than romance, which isn’t a bad thing, but you should turn away if you’re looking for a romance fantasy novel.

The story is more of her trying to figure out who actually killed her, and why the og body is the way it is. A lot of internal monologues of her and we can see clearly her way of thinking.

I don’t dislike the MC. She’s strong and smart, but also realistically burdened by her upbringing... more>> and surroundings.

It seems like other than being teased/ostracised since little, the og body also actually has a curse of some sort. It’s interesting to me because she has self-destructive intrusive thoughts, and she knows it. She tries to fight them off but sometimes succumb to the anxiety those thoughts give her.

Although his actions are sweet and seem in love, he’s also quite suspicious and ambiguous for me. He seems genuinely caring to the MC, but never actually confesses directly. He’s gentle towards her but very harsh towards anyone that hurts her.

I’m not a fan of the pacing and writing, but it’s more likely to be the MTL.

Not completed yet, but the raws I read is only until here, and I don’t really have interest to continue too tbh. It ends up being there’s like some magic organisation behind these incidents. The motive is unclear so far. I feel like at this point, there should be more clues to her death tbh.

Highly recommend this novel! I love how the MC struggled when she transmigrated to ogMC body because ogMC suffered from heavy depression and how it's hard to differentiate which one is her feelings and ogMC feelings, and the longer she's in that body they started to blend together. I also love how she doesn't remember all the plot of the novel or ogMC's memories.

I also love the ML affection to the MC but the MC still keep having doubt about ML. Because if ML really loves the ogMC, why he... more>> doesn't notice his wife already changed?

But we need to remember they both live in separate building and the ogMC doesn't allow ML to come in her building at all and ML respect that. OgMC also suffered from depression and hide in her room making it hard for ML to see her. There's a lot of speculation and missing memories about this tho.

Tentative 4 star rating as is still pretty early in the story. There is an interesting mystery going on with the MCs body that is pretty unique for this genre. She also had to deal with a body prone to severe depression, feeling things that aren't "her" & cripple her ability to think and act clearly. That makes for interesting tension for the MC. The ML is cast as a man of dubious morality, but there are hints that the original story had an unreliable narrator. There isn't much... more>> romance yet and the drama comes from the mystery the MC is trying to unravel. Thus far nothing is extremely annoying or drawn out, but this way of story telling has the potential to get frustrating really quickly. I'm hoping there are no silly misunderstandings!
