While selling taiyaki, I was possessed by a tr*shy villain from an adult BL novel.

If I were a nice* person I would give a good rating but I am not so here my real rating for this novel

Things which are good are already talked much here (Comedy, Smut Scene, MC and ML Romance?)

I didnt like ut that MC couldnt connect with other people in this novel. Either ML gets jealous and if MC meets someone it is only relevant for the plot. We don't see any strong insight into the father of MC or second ml, which is a pity because that would... more>> be important to know why one of them does something. Misunderstandings here misunderstandings, if the two had talked the story would have been half finished. Because of the romance, yes, very sweet, the two smut was good, but because of the system, you get the feeling that the romance was forced. It didn't happen directly because they were not interested in each other, but because the system sometimes gave MC the mission to do something s*xual or harmless, like follow him home their relationship has gone up so yes I can understand if someone says how else are they supposed to build a relationship the whole thing would have been possible without a system. MC is not a dog pig, he would do these thing like help ML family without the control of the systm. In my opinion the system was just an ex machines that the author just to build their story intersting*. So many other points annoyed me but since I spent money I give the story not 3 but a minus 4 stars <<less

Really enjoying the story so far. The ML's little brother is absolutely the most adorable little bean ever and it's so satisfying seeing the bonding between him and MC. The interactions between namwoon and seo-oh are entertaining as seo-oh has to navigate how to feel and think about the dramatic change from namwoo. It's funny and sweet, and enjoyable read. Really like the characters so far. Thank you to translator for picking this story up!!

I am really enjoying this so far, way more than I thought I would! I binged all current chapters in a night and am now eagerly awaiting the rest to be unlocked. I just love the interactions between the MC and ML, the way their relationship is progressing is very satisfying and doesn't feel rushed at all. I've read so many of these where the ML also does a 180 and becomes obsessed with the MC immediately after their transmigration, so it's great to see MC have to work for... more>> it and the resulting push/pull from the ML (from a little vinegar jar to a big one hehe).

Other notes/thoughts: Yes, MC is a bit clueless in terms of love and especially about ABO. He's not the smartest MC, but his heart is in the right place. The system has sway over his actions, and he gets punished for acting ooc (though the restrictions lessen over time). ML has a little brother so there are some cute kid interactions. The other protagonist of the book (the one who got together with the ML initially) also shows up, but as we all know, the one who gains his attention is the MC. <<less

Tbh one of the few good villian transmigration omegaverse stories I've read, it might not be gold but even silver shines brightly in a pile of tr*sh.

The ML is such an ass and somehow I don't even hate him. Mostly because the author doesn't bend down and kiss his feet while throwing the MC aside like most other authors. The MC can actually talk back and isn't a total coward or forgives ML only a chapter later.

They have reasonable flaws like ML being untrusing and an ass because MC only... more>> recently changed after old MC left a bunch of unforgettable scars on the Ml.

MC also has the flaw of not telling ML some things, but it is also reasonable. Like not wanting the past villian image of MC to be ruined incase the system somehow punishes him (or doesn't want to be embarrassed). Or anything about the second ML because 1) it's his personal life and ML is a helicopter-parent and 2) When he has a chance to explain ML calls him a liar because of past villian MC actions.

Right now I'm just pissed that I've been left on a cliffhanger >: ( <<less

Villain trope, young top x older bot AND omegaverse? I want to love this so bad! Unfortunately, I dove in expecting at least something decent.

The system is utterly useless and doesn't really feel like an integral part of the story, insists that MC needs to act villainous yet gives him tasks that are not evil. Such tasks are: picking ML up from university, having dinner with him, helping people. It's as if the author wants to hop in the villain trope bandwagon but is disgusted by actual evil... more>> characters. Moreover, the penalty for "disobeying" the system makes MC goes into heat which in no way serves the system or motivates MC.

MC barely remembers anything from the original story, to the point that this doesn't feel like a transmigration into a novel that he has read. MC has no prior attachments or feelings towards or against any of these characters that he has supposedly read their lives about. This could be a "I died and reincarnated as a villain in another world?!" and nothing would have changed. Also, he is acting like a normal 20 year old person but it is frustrating to read about an MC who does food delivery on a hot pink bicycle when he owns a small business and a car??

I'm only 23 chapters in so my review may miss crucial plot development. However, I do feel like I've wasted 3 hours on this. <<less

I wish I could enjoy this with the rose-colored glasses of the other reviewers but what a shame to end up caught in a premise much less promising than what was promised sigh

The MC ends up in a difficult situation as soon as he transmigrates paired up with a downright sadistic unhelpful system. I thought he would at least put his hardworking attitude to use and learn about his character and company except he leaves his work unsupervised to his underlings (who are so so unhelpful despite acting loyal) and... more>> runs around doing food delivery to earn money !!

I don't need the MC to be overpowered but did he leave his rational thinking in his old body ?!! Make it make sense!

And! His other job includes being a doormat for the ML to step on as he pleases depending on his erratic moodswings ! What a recipe for disaster !

Don't go in with high hopes like I did cause high chance you'll be dissapointed (unless you like characters being s*upid and being treated like punching bags ig) <<less

Mostly fluffy and cute, although it does veer off into slightly darker territory temporarily, but then pretty quickly makes it's way back to fluff.

I just highly question the "system" - it's rules and interference seem inconsistent. MC does a lot of occ things, but is only punished when something needs to drive the plot forward. It seems more like a plot device than a realistic part of the story.

Because I was fooled at first😂 I thought the uke was the guy on the right. Lol. It turns out it's the man on the left (the one wearing the white shirt)

I can't deny that the story of this novel is interesting, it just doesn't match the title. Based on the title I expected the villain to avoid the protagonist, but in reality the uke doesn't even (maybe yet) try to avoid the protagonist at all. Instead, he tries to fix his relationship with ML (the original protagonist of the novel he transmigrated to).

Btw the TL does such a great job. It's so easy to read the story. Ofc the author must've done a good job for it to be that but without TL we'll never get to enjoy it in such quality.

This is the thing. The system is so unbearable and most of the time you don't really understand what's going on. Does it know that the story is going off rail ? If so it still wants the MC and ML to f*ck so bad. Saying the cannon fodder MC plays... more>> is so pitiful that he should atleast not die a virg*n. But then when the story goes off rails it takes it out on our poor MC. I have not really enjoyed its presence at all. It does push the story forward. It's the overlord that does whatever it wants. MC getting something out of it is pure f*cking luck. I feel so sorry for MC honestly. He's obviously a really really really good lad. He's just quite awkward when it comes to relationship stuff. And a bit dense too.

But sometimes he is quite perceptive just when you think he didn't catch it. He obviously loves ML and the little brother a lot.

He comes off a bit dumb sometimes but when I think about it, it's a bit hard to do anything else in situations he finds himself in. In summary, he's allover the place. But other than the system the other stuff is pretty clear. The flow of the story is easy to understand. Not many plot holes. The relationship is pretty healthy too. The characters feel very human. You can see they have flesh and blood.

Honestly the baby brother is so cute ! Whenever he's in the picture it's like watching a smoothly animated cartoon. He is very innocent but he can figure stuff out. He's pretty sharp.

There is this alpha - omega dynamic.

MC is gradually turned into an omega by the system. I honestly don't understand why. While I do enjoy the smut scene that follows right after, the MC is really struggling with it. I would hate it so much if it was me. But gladly when he is going off rails it's usually with the ML who takes care of him. Honestly half the time he is the very reason that happens in the first place. I kinda wish he stayed a beta but him shifting to an omega serves the story in many angles so I'm gonna wait it out.

Then when it comes to the smut, let me tell you it's the best I've read after such a long long time. The TL does such and amazing work in the entire story ofc, but especially here. I would love to read it again for the first time. I never expected it. But you do have to read into the story a little bit to encounter it.

One of the best things about it is, their s*xual relationship is pretty healthy.

Update (ch 137) : no nvm that doesn't stay that way for long 🥲. Why ? Just WHY ?! <<less

I didn’t expect much from any of the “villain” trope BL novels but I found this one! This is just satisfying and unique (Not in plot wise but how it was delivered) these are my remarks:

First of all, the MC is random and funny as heck, the author really pays attention to the little chit chats from time to time, keeping the readers focused with actual god-like comedy sense I’m not kidding, it is kind of genius at times and contributing to the atmosphere of the novel as a whole.

Secondly,... more>> the cutie brother kid is so lively in words I can actually imagine him in real life, I am not particularly fond of any kids in or out of novels but he is making me write these lines right now.

Thirdly, the interactions between MC and ML??? Amazingly paced, very believable and satisfying, I actually am very impressed at how well the words were chosen for many scenes, shout out to the translations team too they killed it.

I don’t see any reasons to rate this badly other than the fact that it has the ABO trope which is hard to read and not everyone’s cup of tea.

But if you’re fine with it and are contemplating whether to read this or not, then yesss please give it a try it’s been giving me giggles like a little girl for days, I love this author 🫶 this just scratches where it usually itches the most <<less

Found it hard to enjoy. It started off good but the drama is piling and just when you think the two leads are in a good place, the MC ends up doing something that has me questioning his common sense.

Guess I'm use to partners or lovers being so in tune with each other that the constant problems between the two leads are putting me off.

The system is very inconsistent and unreliable. Everything became annoying because of this inconsistency system. Let say system wanted MC to stay true as his villain role but then after MC gained freedom, and become good person, system persistently wanted MC stay as bad person which doesn't work.

Story is a bit jumping here and there. MC doesn't have a house because he got kicked out by his father and has to pay back money to him. Earlier chapter he didn't like collecting money for his loan shark company so he... more>> did deliveries and stuff and he also had to pick up ML at school but along the way, this setting is gone. MC no longer has part time job (???) Where is his money come from then? ML supposed to have a lot of part time jobs at earlier chapters but in the story this setting is also gone, he seems to always available. Chairman Seok never called MC again to payback money. 2nd ML can't be called as 2nd ML as he just obsessive over alpha but what I like is he is stay true to his character that omega pheromone disgust him
