First, I saw the cover, I like it, I sheck the description, I read the 8 chapter and BOOM 🤯 I became obsessed with it, just exactly what I like (yandere male, obsession, villainess noble girl) I can feel how good this novel just from the beginning.

highly recommend

I love this especially the FL. She have the type of personality that you will not hate while reading the story. She is not a soft hearted weak person or a mary sue. I don't want to say she is smart or a cunning lady either. Coz she is only a strong minded and quick witted FL wearing mask just to survive. She plan things secretly on how to necessary deal with her mother evil deeds coz even tho she have a knowledge about the novel she don't depend to... more>> it too much. The ML is cute. Still no sign of obsession. I feel like this will going to be reverse-harem novel coz based from what I read so far, three guys are interested with her? Maybe four? Not sure if the 1st prince likes her romantically or he just see her as a friend. His actions towards FL is really confusing not in a bad way.

A must read novel! <<less

I read 20 chapters and left it.

You see the problem with "cold protagonist" is that a lot of authors like to make their female protagonist cold and smart, but as soon as the first beautiful and kind man come suddenly, the protagonist seemingmy cold since birth, laugh, smile, cry... and it piss me off so much.

Either you truly make a cold protagonist or you don't if it's for it to be false. Moreover don't make it as if she is smart when a lot of things she does are indeed... more>> s*upid.

protagonist want to avoid the prince but invite him on a date ?? So unrealistic

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one ended up kind of wild. There is a completely logical reason why the villainess (the FL's mother) hates the royal family and is working to bring them down. The short version is They Done Her Wrong and She Wants Revenge. Bella, Lucellai's daughter and the FL, is trying to prevent her mother from completing her revenge but doesn't understand what is going on or why for a long while. As the story unfolds we start to discover with Bella why Lucellai is so determined to destroy... more>> the emperor and empress, and why she despises Valery, the crown prince who loves Bella. Bella and Valery were never supposed to meet, but they do when they are kids, and Bella saves his life - then as adults, Valery sees Bella again and recognizes her despite Bella trying to blend into society and run scams. There's a lot of twisted soap opera things going on and it sort of reads like a kdrama, but I honestly enjoyed this one immensely. There isn't a happy ending for everyone, but it feels more real and the ending honestly is more appropriate this way. <<less

A CLEAR 1 STAR. Here are my complaints:

The biggest problem was: The story is VERY hard to take serious because of the constant common sense issues:

-Picking dress scene, asks her knight to choose then picks what she likes anyway.

... more>> -Tries not to interact with the ML then asks for a date one sentence later.

-ML confesses after without even knowing her, they talked like 3 sentences before, what's happening?? Their relationship feels unearned...

-The funny coincidences were everywhere, it's so cliche that it hurts.

-FL gets in the bathtub with an open wound........

Her personality is also not the best: I didn't like how she ordered or scolded people... If I was her knight or servant, everytime she asks for something I'd go wild. "Rude beach! Say please! Use the magic word!"

Some necessary parts were rushed, other information we don't really need was given instead.

Doesn't worth the try. Save your time.

Interesting ideas, but mid execution. Not bad... but mid.

The MC just seems dull. Like, I get that there are cold characters (I think they're cool :3 when done well), but the MC isn't interesting. She doesn't have a personality worth hating, but I just found myself disappointed by it. The plot should be interesting, but the way she goes through it dampens it.

The novel so far is carried by the ML being a puppy and down bad for her, but I also don't really care for how he fell in... more>> love. Maybe it'll be explained later, but love on sight + suspension bridge effect is a shoddy way imo to explain a really devoted romance. He's sweet though. If I continued reading, I'd do it for him.

The side characters aren't that interesting either, but I feel like the MC's mother would eventually become more interesting if I bothered to continue reading. I just can't with the MC. She's not s*upid (as far as I can tell), but her characterization is inconsistent and weak after ~20 chapters.

Basically, I feel like the novel's writing and characterization isn't that high, but the premise and mysteries are good. I'd rather read spoilers than the actual novel, but you could try and see if it's up your alley. <<less

I like the FL (Carbella) ain't too OP, but she's decisive on saving her mother from further falling as Villainess. Sometimes some of her plans failed but didn't stop her from trying. I'm sad for her because she has a huge burden on her shoulders.

For romance, ML (Prince Valery) was such a green flag. Despite FL's multiple hidden secrets, he chose to trust her and been loyal despite them circumstances/separations. Honestly, the last few chapters were only sweet consolations for them.

Also, glad that Villainess Mother was not glossed over. A... more>> character full of vengeance, neglected people who loved her and chose the wrong path. She's a mysterious character bc she hid too much feelings even on her own kid... however, I'm glad that OG Protagonists weren't villainized.

Meanwhile for cons, the "supposed" climax was anticlimatic, FL's powers ain't even displayed, many unanswered questions and novel full of plot holes with some important scenes being rushed (just given short narrative) <<less

Very well written/translated, with fleshed out side characters and lots of hidden schemes and intrigue,

strong willed smart MC who is still able be manipulated which is a really interesting/unique character balance
