The best way I can describe this one is if you took a bunch of cliches, smashed rhem together, and then tried to get through it as quickly as possible. It's really bad.

The plot makes no sense. It jumps from one plot point to another with no connection whatsoever. Named characters pop up out of nowhere and the novel acts like we should have known about them the entire time, to the point where I wondered if a bunch of chapters were missing and I didn't read their introduction to... more>> the series.

that doesn't even include how f*cked up the ages of characters is.

Let me ask you, how old are the characters? Is the MC a teenager? An adult? A middle aged man? How about his disciple? Is she a kid or a teen?

Actually can I talk about that, cause she flip flops from inexperienced child learning swordsmanship to teenager with a egregiously cliche anime crush on MC every damn chapter. Its really offputing reading a teen act that noobish or a child acting that adult.

There is no worldbuilding. The dialogue is tr*sh. The characters are cardboard cut outs convenient for whatever the author needs em for.

I have so many more complaints, but honestly I just don't want to spend even a single second more dealing with this. <<less
