Two families’ children were switched at birth. One of the families is a household that does business, and the other is a household of a marquis. There is a vast difference in status.

Pretty uncomfortable read. I mean yeah, both of them know they’re not biologically related from the beginning... but... the way they interact before theyre romantically involved and after FL is in puberty is pretty disturbing. It’s a combination of her young age, ML and FL being ‘siblings’, ML lusting after his super young sister, and the inappropriateness of both of their behaviors as siblings. And after they confirm their romantic relationship, the author keeps repeating younger sister/ elder brother with relation to the both of their identities which is kind... more>> of gross. Like they’re a couple now...

Also, the way ML/ FL/ ML’s grandmother constantly let ML’s mother and og FL run amok even though they could’ve just sent them away really doesn’t make sense to me. Just make up an illness, send them to some remote home and keep them there. No one would’ve noticed anyway. I mean ML’s mother was already a 14 year recluse and og FL had just arrived in the capital and no one really knows her. So why not just send them away and save themselves the trouble? No... they just let ML’s mother and og FL cause problems again and again and again. Plus the author also made og FL so crazily delusional and incompetent she’s not even interesting as a villain.

I guess the only plus about the novel is that FL is quite interesting and she’s just as obsessed about ML as ML is about her. She’s also very straightforward and domineering about how much she cares for ML. If not for the fact that ML lusted after her way too early and the weird disturbing in*estuous-ish behavior, I probably would rate this novel a 4 cause it is fairly entertaining. <<less

everyone knows that the real daughter is a super cruel manipulative evil conniving backstabbing bit*h who is willing to ruin her adoptive family, kill her adoptive parents, tried to destroy her adoptive brother, ruined another almost adoptive family, hired people to destroy her blood sister, has been mentioned by the famous monks to be a super bad luck jinx who will destroy MC's family multiple times and yet they continue to let her stay and plot against them. Cos obviously if they had just stuck to their words of "If you create problem one more time we will kick you out" then this story would have ended much earlier.

Honestly, if this story was only around max 100 chapters it would have been perfect but now it's an extra 50-ish chapters of dragging repetitive nonsense which feels like the author is just dragging it on for the sake of earning more money (cue J.K. Rowling who doesn't know when to stop with the HP franchise). Real review for the entire story including the draggy repetitive bits which doesn't make any sense/contribute to the story (as it's basically real daughter plotting, getting thwarted by MC&ML, being warned not to cause trouble or they will kick her out and repeat whole process for 50 chapters) =3.9/5. But if the author had wrapped it up at around 80-90 chapters, then my score would have been a 5/5.

If the author wants to write a 100+ chapter novel, she should take a cue from the author of To Be a Virtuous Wife. That novel is easily over 100+ chapters but it doesn't feel repetitive nor does it make you want to roll your eyes at the obvious attempt of pointless drama for the sake of dragging out the story. <<less

I rushed through this novel in two days. Because it was just that interesting... and kept me wanting for more until now.

The story revolves about the MC's second chance at life, aiming to achieve great bliss in all aspects of her existence.

The author put effort into making the MC shine bright like a majestic tiger illuminated in the scorching midday sun. Enjoy seeing her grow up and see her hug her brother's thigh!* <<less

It's great for me. I don't mind the relationship between MC and ML, maybe because I already read many novels with this kind of setting.

The plot is amazing. It's not rush and full of plot holes. The pacing is just right.

I like the characters. I'm still bothered by the low IQ of some but I'm used to it, so I don't really mind.

The only part that I can't put my feelings down is about the main servants of MC at the first part of the novel. MC tolerate them too... more>> much for revenge. I'm the one who was having headache for MC at that moment.

Anyway, it's finished so I won't think about it anymore. Still, the novel is good. Nice to read. <<less

How refreshing to read about a female lead that knows her own mind and gives not one f*ck about what anyone thinks about her.

I adore Yu Xiang's outrageous personality, vicious fighting attitude and strong sense of her own worth.

Yes, she had a very pampering and adoring ML, but her strength is from within.

The pseudo siblings love story will be either hit or miss with readers. If we had a more timid female lead I would not be okay with the age gap and the big brother dynamic. However, in this... more>> particular story, our girl knew exactly what she want and I'm glad she got to have her cake and eat it too. <<less

Honestly, this is a really sweet story. Don’t be put off by the title. It’s a terrible title and very misleading. There’s no forcing or anything in the main couple but can’t say the same for the original FL but she kind of deserved it.

Went in knowing it's gonna be yandere but didn't expect the antagonists to live for so long. I really want to bow down to the MCs for being so patient with them. Can't stand it anymore!!!!!!! The romance was yandere, mutually, and was cute.

I find it very rare to find a yandere story that does not leave me questioning my morals at the end. The yandere in the title seems largely exaggerated. This is a light and fluffy romance with everyone getting what they deserve at the end. I liked how the upright but arrogant personalities of both leads are very clearly explained and even the villains are not punished too severely or beyond reason. Previously we’ve seen leads who are either pushovers or too high-handed in meting out retribution but this author... more>> handled revenge just right. <<less

This novel FL is super annoying.. At first I liked her but then her character went from simply loving her brother to a super clingy lover.. Especially when she made the comment ' I dreamed of elder brother kissing me and woke up to fine myself gnawing on air 'it was so cringy that I - I don't even know. I loved the pampering but I came for the yandere, only to fine there was nothing of the sort.

It's a really good story however I don't understand the yandere tag as he certainly is not a yandere. Perhaps mildly toxic but that's about it.

The leads got really good chemistry (HOT!)... Their fates were interconnected and the trust for each other was commendable. Also, it also good how they developed their feelings through the years. They just too clingy and both yandere with each other LMAO

I like the straightforwardness of ML and FL, they maybe cruel to their enemies but they never did evil hidden schemes.

... Some villains got second chance while others got terrible ending which was well deserved.

I just wished author wrote about what happened to Yu Xiang's twin brother in... more>> the past life. Even tho he was briefly mentioned, he got huge impact to YX' life. <<less

I found the first few chapters very confusing since it was setting up a strange premise before starting the main story.

Basically, in her past life, our MC was the crippled, but spoiled, daughter of an extremely wealthy, modern-day family. She was preternaturally close with her twin brother, and winds up sacrificing her life for his. After learning about her sacrifice, her brother spends beaucoup bucks and effort to pay an entire group of head monks to transfer all of their carefully cultivated good karma to his dead sister, in order... more>> to ensure she has the best, most blessed and lucky, life possible wherever she winds up being reborn.

Which is how we wind up with our MC succeeding at all things and altering the plot of the novel she wound up in to her favor with no real effort on her part.

She is such a vicious b****, but not a completely dislikable one (though not a completely likable one, either). She's selfish and bratty, and not all that brilliant, but she still winds up on top due to this surplus of luck. Enjoy the schadenfreude of the OG FL failing for absolutely no reason, other than the MC is now the one with the protagonist halo.

This is NOT the story for you if you like fairness or justice, since bad things will happen to good people and POS people will do well. MC is going to be a little sh*** and still win, but it's fine. Read this if you like a bit of mary sue, or like very doting ML's. <<less

The story is light hearted and full of face slapping. I had fun watching the characters grow and the love between the leads slowly come to fruition. The MC is a smart character who is definitely a bit of a Yandere herself (lol). The story progression is well-paced and it’s starts off when the MC is 10 or so and then skips a bit of time until she is 14. I’m glad there were not any misunderstandings; therefore it was a lot more palatable. The only part that was slightly... more>> frustrating was the last 20 chapters or so

This novel is satisfying in every aspect. The comedy, romance and face slapping. I love it all. Some may not like it bcoz of sibling (not real) romance. I think the author wrote this is based on ancient believe that says male & female twins are husband and wife in previous life. Shortly, this is an enjoyable read. Give it a try.

DAMN I LOVE THIS TO DEATH.

First of all, MC doesn't really have a golden finger but rather she's just competent. I mean yes technically she's a bit good at gardening, but that's never something she focuses on. The main thng is probably her fortune, but it's never "lucky" in the sense that meat pies are always falling towards her from the skies. Rather, her focus is on her family and the people around her.

I LOVE her character so much. She's arrogant, but also righteous. She's also not randomly vengeful, unlike... more>> the many other FLs; if someone crosses her, she may faceslap them and plot against them, but she'll also give them chances to redeem themselves. As a disabled not-actually-related daughter that no one likes, she fought to get everyone to approve of her and love her. ML is also perfect for MC. The title isn't really suitable; sure, ML is probably a yandere, but MC is as well and that's why they suit each other perfectly. If MC were a lil white lotus this may become a dogblood ab*se story, but she's not, therefore it's a story of enviable love and cherishing relationships. AND I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! Way too often it's a psycho lover ML w lil white lotus MC and lots of dogblood - here, they're both clear and straightforward and true to themselves, and embed the other into their heart and bones.

All the progressions in this story is very realistic. Sure we can say ML's position is very OP, but at the same time it's a weakness because he needs to carefully balance his relationships to avoid upsetting the Emperor. MC and Old Madam does a good job of this, but they raised some s*upid chickens jumping around that they need to manage.

I also love the implication that ML's soul may have something to do with her previous twin brother, hehe <<less

Read it. Read it. Read it.

OMG I love this book so much! I'm not typically into slow burn but this one made me really hooked until the end. Very different from the typical transmigration trope. I read it all in just one sitting. Can't put my phone down because of how interesting it is. All in all, you should definitely give this book a go.

I can't read it anymore. I tried to read past the sex*al moments as the plot seemed interesting enough for me. I don't understand how the FL (being a 12-14 yo) saw the ML as her brother twin in her og life. But also at the same time, she saw the ML as the golden thigh she had to hug until the og FL came back and she can go away to live peacefully with the money she earned as a 'filial sister'.

But as time went on, there are... more>> a lot of disturbing se*ual scenes that are very unnecessary. Rather than being a Yandere, I see the ML as a creep, h*rny to see his minor sister's cl**vages or 'dimples' above her butt, etc... the heck.

They say things like "brother is mine" - "yeah, I'm all yours" - "brother please don't get married, I also don't want to get married and want to stick to you for the rest of my life" - "okay, I won't get married"

Like hello? What happened with leave peacefully and give the og FL her rightful place? What happened with logic? I don't believe FL doesn't know her brother's intention/feeling all this time as she's very insightful and calculative.

All in all, I suggest you just skimmed the se*sual part as the plot is interesting enough... <<less

I have read this series several times and still love it. The main character is a smart, strong, and possessive woman who is not afraid to run to the rescue when her male lead is in trouble. Sometimes I do skim over the sisters (OFL) point of view, because I dislike her so much. Otherwise the story is great as well as the translation.
